Glad you liked it, Thanks for watching!
Saw Forrest Tucker at a Ram football game. He was taller than I imagined.
This guy was hysterical on F Troop. That was one of the best shows on tv!
A great character actor!!
I saw Forrest Tucker in a play in Toronto way back in the 1970's. He was excellent.
You neglected to mention he entered a 500 mile snowmobile race at below zero temps and finished in 1972. What a spirit !

I did not know that, thank you for sharing! thanks for watching!
I spoke to Forrest Tucker in 1979, when he & numerous other 1940's-50's performers, put on a Vaudeville Show in Hauppauge, NY! It was great to see stars like, Milton Berle, George Jessel, Donald O'Connor, etc. in person! After the show, I asked Mr.Tucker, (who was a huge man), why "Republic Pictures", ( his former employer) used very tall & thin actors, e.g. John Wayne, Rod Cameron, Sterling Haden, himself. etc., as their leading men? He simply replied "That's just how we were built, then!" He had a great career, but didn't really reach "leading-man stardom"! Too bad! R.I.P. Forrest!

What a great story! Thanks for watching!
Great video! I learned alot. I have always enjoyed watching him in different roles. I recognized in one of the pictures from being when he was on a episode of "Little House On The Prarie". That was actually the first time we ever saw him, thought being young it took a couple years to associate him with his role On F-Troop.
Guys like Forest Tucker played themselves in the movies and we're lucky that they did, but we miss his acting. Awm
My Dad met Forrest while in the Army , British Military Police 🇬🇧, around 1955 ish God Bless them both 🙏🏻, a smashing bloke ❗️,, if he said it once to us kids he said it a thousand times ,, 😂😂 ,, F,, Troop fans in our house ❗️, cheers Dad ❤️🙏🏻

Saw him in a play....Same Time Next Year.....in Chicago...1970 give or take a year.....a big dude.....really looked big on a stage...
Was always a no nonsense actor, always enjoyed his performances, loved his science fiction movies , the trollenburg terror ( the crawling eye) and the strange world of planet X ( the cosmic monsters)
