The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Ordon Village [Oscilloscope Deconstruction]

Музыка

1st time I'm doing this method (hex editing then recording in-game). Not very hard when you know what you're doing but takes a lot of time.
Of course, TZ teached me how to do this and if you wanna do it as well, he even made a tutorial on his channel : • Luigi's Mansion - BMS ...

    @Orj_Osc sorry, the other songs is the same song, or at least one is a variation of the other. I just can't remember the name, it's been a long time since I've played twilight princess and I'm not sure I ever learned the name of it.

    i've just recently found this channel. these videos make me so happy! you've already done so many songs from my fav games so i'm slowly going through the channel now 😂 i'm not sure if it's interesting as a deconstructed clip, but goron city from oot (or any goron city theme tbh) would be amazing. it's my go-to sleep music because i always follow the differents rhythmic sounds one by one until i get sleepy.

    Hey! It's been a while since this channel got recomended to me, and I see you are doing wonders again, keep it up!! I do have a request for a video, and that is the Super Smash Bros Brawl Theme, the orquestal one that plays at the begining, that would be awesome!! It could be interesting to see how the chore builds up and the different voices that comes with it :D

    Guessing the instruments: Channel 1: Flute Channel 2: Flute (softer) Channel 3: Pizzicato Strings Channel 4: Marimba Channel 5 and 6: French Horns Channel 7: Oboe Channel 8: Strings Channel 9: Rim Tick (?) Channel 10: Flute Channel 11: Bongos

    Channel 2 is the flute/pipe's echo. I think Channel 7 is an English horn. Getting more specific, Channel 5 is the lower horns in the left ear, and Channel 6 is the higher horns in the right ear. Channel 9 is a handheld shaker, possibly a cabasa. Channel 10 is a piccolo, to distinguish it from the slightly lower flute. In channel 11, the left channel is bongos, but the right channel is a different percussion instrument (not bongos), but I can't identify it.

    I think doing one of these for Faron Woods would be really cool, if you haven't already! I always like seeing the songs deconstructed by instrument like this.

    Hello! I was wondering if there's a good spot to learn the stuff your doing here. certain consoles are really difficult for me to understand, especially N64, and I cant seem to find any good tutorials, so it would be really handy if you could send me in the right direction. also, great deconstruction! I'm not really familiar with this game, but it seems pretty cool!

    I'll make a full list of everything you need to get and know for (almost) every console I covered on my YT channel. For basically any retro consoles like NES, Game Boy, Master System, Genesis, etc. You'll need Foobar2000 : www.foobar2000.org/download With the Game Emu Player component : www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_input_gme After that, you can mute the channels by clicking on "View" > "GEP Control" (All the game audio files can be found in Zophar's Music Domain : www.zophar.net/music) For the DS, you'll need NDSHeader to extract .nds files (DS rom files) : digiex.net/threads/nds-header-tool-2-view-info-on-nds-roms.14990/ With this software, you have to select a .nds file, go to the "File System Info" tab and click on "Extract Rom Contents". Now, you need VG Music Studio, it plays .sdat files (DS sound files) pretty accurately : github.com/Kermalis/VGMusicStudio/releases/tag/v0.2.2 .sdat files can generally be found in folders called "sound", "audio" or even "snd" depending on the game if that helps. For the N64, I didn't find a way to get the tracks very accurately but if you really wanna get the midis and soundfonts, you can use N64 SoundBank Tool : github.com/jombo23/N64-Tools/releases/tag/3ae0013 GBA is a bit long to explain, I'll just show you this image that basically says every necessary step : media.discordapp.net/attachments/944275090877595709/1218317469232529559/Capture_decran_2024-01-24_185114.png?ex=6607398f&is=65f4c48f&hm=453e4e855a52abedc5e7189ce879f84ba9dacc30f05eeaa8de2c247025494ace&=&format=webp&quality=lossless&width=1160&height=486 And for the GCN & Wii, a new method has been found where every channel can be recorded in-game, there's a tutorial on it : kzread.info/dash/bejne/rJyNt6aeodipYco.htmlsi=z4vBCf08xJLblALQ If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I think it'd be better if we could talk via Discord because this comment is kinda long lol. I hope this comment was helpful though!

    I love this song, reminds me of how long it took me to do the beginning lol. Also, the method actually might be a lot more beneficial since you're recording everything in game, meaning the effects (like vibrato or pitchbend) is going to be exactly correct. But yeah, Hex editing would make it take a while (Could use this for WindWaker instead of ripping Samples and Sequences lol). I wonder how it'll go for dynamic tracks. Time to relearn how to rip JaiSeq songs again lol

  • @Orj_Osc

    @Orj_Osc

    5 ай бұрын

    Exactly, it's very time-consuming but the results are top notch! 👌 For the dynamic tracks, it's shown at the end of TZ's tutorial but basically, you have to replace the last 2 bytes of any track you want with the one that's muted by default. Btw, you have to run the game from sys\main.dol If you run the iso, it will just play the non-edited game. For the audio settings, I recommend setting it to DSP LLE Recompiler and stay with Cubeb. If you have more questions, you can always ask me or TZ Gaming. Have fun!!!
