This and all the other Zelda remakes need to be ported to the Switch.

I remember when handhelds had the worst graphics... Now they have great graphics and gameplay. Good job nintendo.

Hahaha I know right? Whenever I played my gameboy "advanced" back in the day, I had to constantly sit right under a lamp to even see what I was doing.. Now handhelds are 3. D.

It's not that the consoles can't do it, it's that you'd have to buy a 3D TV if you didn't already have one, meaning a lot of people wouldn't buy the console

@lil-dirty dan it wasn't a garbage remake sure it had flaws like zora swimming and water hopping as the deku scrub but it was a great remake

It looks great, It was one of my childhood favorits so i can't wait to play this and relive the good old days

Graphics look brighter to me. Probably because Composite cables wernt the best source for graphics when this was originally released.

@Catchthatturtle Master Quest from the Gamecube re-release has been implemented and spruced up, so it's somewhat more difficult than it's original incarnation, also, there's a Boss Rush mode put in.

@ProductionZone1 it doesn't hurt on the eyes on a long term basis, there's a little strain from looking at it for long periods of time but it DOES take a little getting used to.

One of the greatest TLoZ games ever made, especially when remade for later Nintendo consoles.

@Catchthatturtle in the 3ds one there's supposedly going to be the master quest, where all dungeons are mirrored(every thing is in opposite postitions,etc) and going to be harder

i rember playin this game when i was 6 or 5 nd playing it over nd over and over and just kept finishing the game. now im 11 turing 12 in 2 months and still playing the n64

I just got chills, I remember playing this game 10 years ago on my Nintendo 64 on the couch in my basement on a 19' Tv, I remember I even had the guidebook to go with the game. Amazing gameplay, Epic story; Unarguably the greatest video game in history.

@ZanMindtrip Not as much as we did back then. Back then we had to keep on pausing just to put on and take off the Iron boots. Now you can assigned the boots to a button and tap it to turn them on and off.

@eyebal actually they kinda DID remake the game a little. Because they stated that they included new storyline, and they included some new features that are useable, plus a correct version of the Master Quest

@megamacargo978 know your wrong since you can now switch your boots with the touch screen and not have to press the start button to change your boots anymore.

@harpiefunfun90 You can now take the shoes on and off by simply tapping an icon on the touch screen. Don't worry about it too much.

Ahh.. i remembered when i barely got it i din't knew what i was doing and i needed to use the hints all the time

@ReadThisDerp but again, so it smoothed a few edges and maybe Links sword pokes out toward the screen more often for the person to awe at. Is there any new tacked on material... at all? Like remember the mario 64 remake for the DS and they added the little multiplayer wireless game or how you could be Warrio, Yoshi, or Luigi too. Just seems a bit expensive to re buy the same really easy game.

@tenorguy93 you can not play 3ds games on anything other than the 3ds. however, you can turn the 3d off while playing on the 3ds.

@MagnusAmbassador I know,but MQ isn't the same as URA. In Master Quest the dungeons are harder, but URA was supposed to have new items, areas,enemies,ect. The most in the 3DS MQ was flip the map.

@sidewalkguy The Gamecube and Wii version of LoZ:OoT are direct ports of the N64 version with no changes, not "revisions"

@naleac actually every gaming system has had a similar warning even back to the N64 and Original Playstation. The system manual always says to take breaks as frequent as every half hour. 3DS has the same wording.

@CleanVideoGameNerd you can easily download the port on the wii, and they have masterquest home consoles

this game remains one of the best zelda games to date i grew up with zelda. the emotion that strikes me when i play these games is so powerful. even to this day, they are still very entertaining and challenging games'

@23chaosstar It's just regular old Ocarina of Time with pretty "3D" graphics and less cluttered menu's. And a boss fight challenge mode. maybe a surprise here and there.

I LOVE THIS. i've been waiting for something like this for a long time.

Now I want to play it on my game cube. It's been so long.

@TheChocoloco95 When you defeat Gannon in his last stage (idk about this game) but in some versions I've seen when Link jabs his sword into him in that epic-ass cutscene there's blood. Very, Very faint but there is. Sometimes I've seen it come out green... idk.

This was the game I really bought the 3DS for. There are other games that are going to come out for 3DS, but this is the most exciting.

Nice that the graphics had been remodeled somewhat with the way Link has a strap for his sword sheath and the Master Sword looks more like it's picture. I've played through the N64 version 5 times. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be roughly the same game on 3DS and I'm not compelled to play it again...unless there's some fundamental and/or somewhat subtle change to the story like seeing what the king and queen of Hyrule look like.

@cKunke2 You forgot the port to Gamecube. Played that port all the time...

@ProductionZone1 I would have loved it to if i weren't for the constant on/off off the iron boots, and the swimming. The design is great and refreshing, it's just the boots part. Nice talking with you ganon.

@ToonSxO i like majora's mask because you can redo Everything. and it takes more time to get everything done 100% in that game than oot but thats my opinion theyre both great. oot has more story while mm is long and drags on trying to get everything.

Its making me cry because of the nostalgic memories. :3 I just finished the original and now i want this game. This is the reason why im getting a 3DS. (They should make a remake of Majoras Mask too.)
