20 dollars to make the game harder! Maybe, but it takes a week just to get anywhere in this game. I'm a serious gamer but I never really play zelda over and over. They should give the dlc for free. It's crap to charge for master mode! That should have been in the game like all other games have difficulty options...but Nintendo doesn't so they make you pay! I'm getting it free, so phhhhhtttt on it all. I want more side quests and new storylines, not master garbage, the game is already tough, and way to damn long. Sad, everyone will buy the dlc. We should all be emailing them and complaining. I won't pay for master mode as that should have already been implemented into the damn game. dadnbud dude, you do know all of this was gonna be in the game originally right? They didn't have enough time before the release date to program all of it into the game. This game was delayed enough as it is. That's why they made it dlc. They wanted to still have it in the game but didn't have time to program it all in. Plus the dlc pack coming out in winter is a new story. I'm not sure how good it'll be but it's a new story none-the-less. Which does make it worth 20 dollars. Everything in this video is just extra stuff that takes less time to program so this is what we get to hold ourselves over until winter so people don't lose interest

Anyone else remember when we first saw BotW's gameplay in the last E3 and we were all hyped about it? Ahh the memories...

Hopefully we get a F-Zero game with flying cars before we live in a world with flying cars

Here's hoping Gold-tier enemies will actually have some intelligence compared to the others, that way there'll be some increases in the difficulty and it doesn't just become "you break 4 weapons fighting Lynels instead of 3". Also, might just be me, but I think I would've preferred if the new enemy tier was "Malice" instead of Gold, where they'd have the same general color pattern of all the Ganon juice you find around Hyrule.

I know that collectibles are always optional, but what i don't really understand is why they come up with this kind of new game solution. TBH, 2 rounds of 1,800 seeds total is a little insane even for the completionist. I know my voice is little and doesn't matter much, if not at all, but If you just want to bump up the difficulty, why not New Game +.

They should make a DLC where you play as link before the fall of hyrule. It could revolve around Link's journey to become a champion and getting the master sword. It could end with the final boss as ganon but have link lose in the end, thus being essentially a prequel to the actual game.

They seem to be teasing just that but my only gripe with the game is having everything destroyed and wanting to experience this version of Hyrule before everything was destroyed. It sounds so much more interesting than playing through a Hyrule where everything is destroyed and not nearly as populated. I would so play a prequel version of this game!

I am in full support of Breath of the Wild: Audrey Mode. Eventide Island was the most memorable trial, so I can't wait to try the Trial of the Sword.

I hope Nintendo learns from E3 this year and doesn't let Audrey do so much talking in the future, too much annoying banter centered around lusting over a game character. Her on the Fire Emblem Warriors portion of the stream pushed me to the edge of offing myself with her "Xander this, Xander that, Xander Xander Xander" crap.

I'm glad that they had that woman play the way that she did. I am not the best in the game so when I heard about the Trial of the Sword and the Master Mode I was sure I wasn't going to try it. But seeing how it is and how much better I could do than her makes me hype even more for this first DLC! Plus if this was someone like some of the KZreadrs who are pro's at killing Lynels doing this presentation It might deter me becasue they are sooo good.

Oh that heroes path mode will be so useful along with the Korok mask. Oh wait I've already got the Korok seeds and completed all the sidequests. At least the medallion will be useful even though there are shrines literally everywhere. At least there's a "new hard mode" hopefully that should be interesting. Hunger bar? No fast travel? Cool downs on food? Nope just harder enemies.

Imagine thunder blite Gannon on master mode

The only thing I want is a way to upload my savegame to a cloud. Recently my "switches" battery broke and now I'm only able to play the game for like 30-40 minutes unplugged and I don't want to lose my whole 90 hour savegame so I can play it all over again. In Germany they can't guarantee you that your console will still have your files when you receive it after being repaired. I was so hyped and had so much fun playing the new zelda (even without zelda amiibos, cause they're super hard to get in germany and I srsly want one) but now my switch broke and I'm really unsure to send it in and hope for the best or better to wait for Nintendo until they add a cloud or so.

I can't wait to start a new game with the new hard mode.

Don't get me wrong, the other girls were fine, but the main chick seriously knew nothing of botw. Like how did she get the job when she probably hasn't even completed the actual game. Just because she's a chick doesn't mean we prefer having talk about botw over someone who actually knows what they are doing.

Can't wait for this. I've been playing 3D Zelda games for over a decade, so I easily mastered the basic combat in this game within a few hours. The added challenge will be more than welcome. Although I am worried that most of the added challenge will be enemies having more health and dealing more damage, as opposed to giving them new behaviour and attacks. Hopefully they've thrown in stuff like that to make it more interesting.

Well the different tiered enemies have separate AI at least I guess, like the higher level bokoblins are more aware of their surroundings and tactics used against them; If you throw a bomb at them, they'll kick it back at you for example. I agree though, I hope Nintendo fleshed this out a little.

Yeah, I did notice little things like that, and they're super cool to see for the first time. I think the dream would be seeing a Bokoblin cut down a tree on purpose to try and hit me with it :P

Hahaha i'm not sure just how well they can be programmed :P I just find them cute to be honest, makes me laugh when they try and attack me. I do hope in a future iteration of this game that we see more enemy types, I love the direction BOTW has taken but enemy types are lacking, by that I mean challenging enemy types I suppose, definitely a lot of room for a major improvement in a potential sequel of sorts.

I totally agree, BotW was a great game but could've been made a lot better with things like more enemy variety. Maybe the Champions' Ballad DLC will add in new enemies! It's possible I suppose.

That's what I was thinking! Definitely possible, I think the Champions' Ballad might be more akin to Majoras mask (Maybe not quite as rich in scope though due to time constraints), a side project completed in less than a year that builds on what the original offered. Nintendo are really good with DLC offerings, so I have faith in them.

I think the master sword pedestal is the door to a shrine under the forest

I hope dlc pack 2 is a different story deppending on if you unlock all the memories or not

Who else is thinking that she should have rode the updraft from the fire chu chu and killed the bokoblins

I imagine if you had mastered the perfect parry and perfect dodge, it will be easier to complete the trial of the sword, but in master mode it will be very hard, but its possible
