Panodphantion Cave Johnson I know what you guys mean when you say the game isn't out yet. I understand but remember during the Wii u the games wasn't out but as soon as release it was missing major stuff. Think about this. Wii u had more power to hold more characters in Smash and Mario kart 8, why TF did we get less than expected? The lack of content was the problem for those game. There's nothing wrong with wanting more for the console that you bought with your money. Yes I know you guys might say Mariokart 8 and smash was still fun. Yea but you can't argue that they had potential to make it superior they had all that power but still major stuff could have been placed. The NX will be som uch more powerful and I hope Zelda wii u will be more hardcore and have way more content. Harder enemies Good boss battles skill sets weapon upgrade Abilities Combat system More enemies in the open world This game need to demonstrate the power of the NX, since its a launch title

I hope you are right, friend. Also hope they have different fish species scattered all around entire land so I can go on my own fishing pilgrimage all over Hyrule. Shame if you can fish all sorts in one pond. That's like my adventure in Zelda adventure, Also there better be at least 150 different fish species.

This game is so cool, you can just go on your own adventure through the wilderness. Climb a tree, find some food, swim in a lake, go up to some mountain top, enjoy the scenery and then glide or surf down into the valley. It will be absolutely awesome to play this game like that!

Collins Ongaya The first Legend of Zelda was based on his memories of exploration as a child. So yeah, that would be three decades.. Although I must say this game is much much more than just the fruition of those ideas.. But they are clearly in it as well ^.^

18:54 I love the physics in this. He doesn't just go all floppy with his arms flailing everywhere like some games, where it looks like they go weightless... and boneless lol. He actually looks like he still has weight and control over himself.

I will be playing this game Forever! there's so much you can do!

Hopefully they include a recipe book in this, where you can see what possible combinations there are (e.g. Meat and Mushrooms, but not the quantity of each) and if you successfully cook the dish it appears in the book with the full recipe and what it does!

Yes that would be very handy. It would be nice if it appears in on of the sheika slate menus. Alternatively you might be able to manually enter it in, I think that's a bit more immersive, but that might not be something some people would like.. I for one would very much like to manually write down the fruits of my experimentation, I think it would add to the explorative experience :-)

The hunting and cooking are probably my favorite features so far (besides the obvious climbing and exploring) and I find it amusing since I can't do either in real life

I'm so glad that this is what Zelda is becoming! So many choices to make.

Nintendo really stepped up their game. This looks absolutely amazing, can't wait to try it out next year if I can get ahold of a wii u

I've been wanting a stealth mechanic in 3d zelda games exactly like this. This makes me so happy, I need this game in my life

This game is really true to its title. I love the direction the Zelda team has taken with this and I can only imagine how great of a game this is going to be. The battle, the mechanics and as a whole, everything is just so smooth and beautiful.

It would a cool mini game is Link could go into town and be a chef or join a cooking contest for rupees.

I am so going to do this for the first few hours. Possibly more. Definitely more.

"Some ppl like the challenge of that gameplay." My mind immediately went to the 3 hearts challenge. And speed runs are going to be very interesting in this game.

It would be awesome if you could use baits to lure animals!

I think it would be fun to find recipes by experimenting with trial and error, but then have successful recipes automatically get recorded by the Sheikah slate or something so we don't forget. Simply buying or otherwise obtaining a complete cookbook would detract from the sense of adventure. Resources are so plentiful anyway

How do you know that you wont get those things later in the game? This is just an E3 demo, they obviously didn't include everything. For example, I know for sure that Rupees and green clothes WILL be in the game, and for all we know, potions, bottles, Link's instrument, and Links partner could still very well be in the game. As for the rest, yeah, I guess they did break the conventions to refresh the series.

I think they said because the buttons for combat were on the right so they made him right handed, said by Anouma himself. Dunno. Dunno. Link can jump, maybe he had to give up rolling. Weapons break, and bows also break, and there will be better bows and weapons as the game goes on I assume. Green clothes will probably be in the game. He made a potion. I think the Sheikah Slate/Zelda iPad is the "instrument". Also, they did talk about mixing up the zelda formula, you can even go straight to the final boss from the beginning I've heard.

I like how the health system temporarily displays white hearts on the HUD after taking damage, letting you know how much damage has taken currently.

That stealth attack though. That's awesome that they added a benefit to being sneaky

Indeed, you can also make a catapult by using different runes (abilities)! SOmebody tried it and launched themselves high up in the air.

Just an overworld boss, one of the many bosses you can encounter in the open world. The dungeon bosses that we know and love are still there.

A hard zelda game hasn't come out in a long while... I SUPPORT

I hope the game will still have the zelda feel, seem too different, i'm not sure i like how it is.

I'm sure we'll come across some dungeons and temples soon. It seems a lot of people are avoiding the place Link's iPhone nagged him to go to early in the game. Exploring and killing things is more fun XD

Open your mind a bit man. The Zelda formula needs some fresh ideas and this game is clearly trying to do that.

It is confirmed by Nintendo that there are still traditional dungeons and towns, both of which are not demonstrated at E3. They only focused on new elements, like hunting, cooking and shrines.

Yeah, I have to agree with some of the other folks here - one of the main reasons the demo feels so different is because it's purposefully highlighting ONLY the new stuff. At the same time, it's certainly returning to a purposefully more open-world, less linear style of gameplay as an homage to the first game in the series and its focus on the adventure element.

I think I'd be cool if there was a hunger/thirst meter, to make food even more important. Also, I love how that Bokoblin actually picked up the Steak and tried to eat it at 24:44, so many games make it so creatures attack each other in the world, but none of them actually try to eat the other creature

I don't know how the thirst meter would go (Fill empty bottles maybe?) but the hunger meter would be great. Based on the gameplay I have seen so far,you can be a human fridge and only eat items when you take damage,so adding a hunger meter or a survival mode seems to be a good idea.

this is going to be my favorite part of the game

This just looks so awesome i can't wait for it...

I enjoy watching the crazy amount of possibilities. How much fun will it even be to do all that stuff myself? Only 11 days left!

I want more than just this to sell me on an NX. But this looks like my kind of game and a cool direction for one of the best game series ever.

I hope there is going to be a day and night cycle, that would be a nice addition and something new to zelda games

Publish the demo in the eshop, please, I can't wait to play this game
