There's just something really satisfying about watching this game getting destroyed by its physics engine not being designed for these circumstances. Converting inanimate objects into rocket ships, matrix jumps, and phasing through shrines just made this run absolutely hilarious!

Honestly.. I believe the physics system WAS intended for creativity. For these extremes - Maybe not. But this game's engine is absolutely wonderful and leaves a lot to be explored, simply by the imagination of an ordinary player. If you think it, you can probably do it in this game. I love it!

For those confused about the language, the *system language is French;* this controls text and voice acting sequences that progress based on button prompts. In Any%, the only line like this is just before you pick up the Sheikah Slate (1:54). *The in-game voice settings are in German* because they affect voice lines that progress automatically. In the scope of Any%, there's only one automatic voice line (4:26) and the difference between the two is so minor that's really only up to runner preference.

I still remember being extremely early in the game (after arriving at hateno), when I decided it would be fun to fly to Gerudo highlands from the plateau and sees what's over there. Ended up doing Naboris with no armor, barely any weapon, 3 heart (~around 2 stamina wheel), wondering what the actual fuck I've gotten myself into. Took 4 hours, and a lot of attempts, and somehow surviving long enough to have the game literally tells me to magnet the thunder rod. Gave me PTSD so much, I roamed the map instead of fighting more beasts. Next on the plate was Vah Ruta, which went down after a single volley of electric 5x savage lynel bow for each phrase. I guess I roamed too much in between...

Soy un gran fan de los speedruns de OoT y MM; sin embargo, al nunca haber jugado BotW, siempre fui muy apático sobre el juego. Al ver este vídeo, me he enganchado. Muy buenos comentaristas, y excelente runner.

Even in speedruns, this game is beautiful to behold. Would be amazing if we could invite some of the devs one day to a GDQ and let then see this lol.
