This movie was shot in 2 yrs. The directors leased acres of land for two years built a whole village and shot and edited and made this movie solely in Pakistan with all local technicians and local craftsmen. The opening shot is of a Fort "Rohtas Fort" the village shot is set not VFX. This movie is the highest budgeted movie of Pakistan made in 860Million PKR and a spin-off of classic pakistani punjabi hit Maula Jutt.

Wrong info. Vfx is widely used in this movie and the company of vfx is lucid studios. This company has worked previously for marvel studios in movies like avengers, black panther, etc.

Maula Jatt has no vulgarity, unnecessary songs or hating other countries / religions to capture masses. Pure story, dialogue and performance-driven saga. I have yet to come across a movie with such intelligent and deep dialogues that stay with you combined with awe-inspiring cinematography. Hats off to the cast and team for displaying each character with such honesty - truly soul-grabbing performances. A treat for those whose native language is Punjabi.

@@sabrinakhan8217 no according Bilal lashri own interview this movie's concept was created in 2015 and shooting started in 2016 and movie was completed in 2018 they decided to release in 2019 than copyright issue and Covid19 made this movie to be delayed for next couple of years.
