Let me Explain you why did they put Faris’s verse there: He is basically elaborating an illusion where we all feel that we have achieved everything and we have gone past excellence, but then he realises it is all about glamour and the decimals on the cheque are increasing only because of that and then suddenly reality strikes and makes you wonder whether all that was real what i was thinking about myself? And even after all that people keep cursing you and criticising you And then he breaks down and tells us that he has had enough of it and don’t worry we are all in the same boat and if you ever need a hand I’ll be there for you

Not dissenting your opinion but Faris Shafi has one of the best flows out there in desi hip hop. Unka flow boht hi unconventional hai aur boht hi zyada unique hai. Is song me bhi wo out of meter nhi gae agar aap dhyan se sune to he is on point. Its just because of his uniqueness if you prima facie see wo ajeeb flow lagta hai prr arguably he is the king of flows in desi hip hop. Unke jaisa flow karna sabke bas ki baat nahi hai. But this is not a hate comment, aaplog shayad unhe jante nhi honge. Aap bhi jab unke aur gaane sunenge to bolenge ki aisa banda hai hi nahi. Again no hate, this comment is just used as a way to communicate information. Much love!

Loved your enthusiasm and passion about music and esp in the context of this video. #Yedunya is the best created song of #cokestudio14 in my opinion. Sherry and the rest of the Karakoram band along with Adnan Dhool and Xulfi and rappers Talha Anjum and Faris Shafi have created history with this meaningful and hopeful song! To connect the lyrics with music and have the wonderful orchestra in the background echoing that you are indeed not alone is the beauty of this magical song and the reality of our lives as well. I saw the sheer happiness on both of your faces and I was waiting patiently for your take on it. Thanks for doing this review. I’ll do my bit and will share it with both the band and Xulfi. Your understanding of the musical world and how instruments work make a huge difference in letting us common people understand how arrangements are done and compositions are mixed. I was waiting on someone to explain that automated waves / frequencies of tunes created through hand movements in the laptop but only you guys were able to do to explain what it really is out of the gazillion reactions that I have seen of this song. So thank you for that info. This song is on loop and I have to admit that even though I really loved Kana Yaari and Pasoori, I can’t get enough of this song 🥰🤘 P.S. pls do a reaction on BTS of this song too!! This was all recorded in one take but took 6-7 takes altogether. Still, you will see Talha Anjum slip there for a second while fist bumping Faris before Sherry’s scream in the end. Incredible work 👏

Faris shafi is a very genious rapper his style is very diffrent the way he mixes languages is soo fabulous like (bilkul asli , meticulously) you notice the switch like in one of his song it was (kat k le aanda flows ,lekin afsos , everybody wany my sauce) here he shifted 3 languages his rhyme schemes like (mad magician , mathematician) his style so much matches eminem and his the way he writes barishan de weather da marshal matther like the meaningful marshal matthers as in stan eminem was not probably the fun slim shaddu but he was hitting bars while narrating an emotional story so do react more of him hes not that falous just because hes not that consistent as young stunners but I think he very unique do react on Introduction Waasta Nazar Molotov Awaam Jawab de And obviously zulfi is one of legends just because of his supervison we cam see such great music and video because he gives creative freedom to artists if you dont know whos zulfi he was the one who sang the famous song (kiya hua jo laare chooti jeewan ki gaari roothi)

It's glad to see your fair review on this masterpiece but if you think Faris Shafi was out of the meter then I would disagree because that's actually his style which makes him unique. He is the king of flows and has a cool dude vibe. Pakistan has a history in rock and pop genre lead by legendary bands like EP, Junoon, Noori, Fusion, Call, Jal and so on. I'm still proud that we have maintained this legacy, nature of our music is still alive, and the quality is still on top.
