Yes, if the hearing is held in a criminal court but the hearing if it does come to pass will be held in a civil court and where Jordie can only make allegations and even those allegations could be thrown out as being scandalous. The NSW judges are the most corrupt in the country and Jordan has Buckley's if he goes to court.

The interesting thing about this case is that most of Jordie's sources are non-Murdoch media outlets like The Guardian. I can easily see Jordie's defence being "I read it in the news and therefore had a reasonable assumption that it was true", while Bruz tries to argue that if it was true the Tele would have run a story (while avoiding addressing the fact he's not also suing those non-Murdoch news outlets). The danger here is that Bruz might actually succeed in portraying non-Murdoch media as peddling lies while NewsCorpse is a reliable source of unbiased information. This could prove much bigger than it appears.

I hope you get to bring Bruz's shortcomings and dodgey dealings to light during your possible court hearing.

Last time I was this early I broke the laws of space and time because I’ve never been this fucking early.

To recap; Couple of weeks ago, Jordan gets a letter some a lawyer representing #Bruz telling him of the intention to sue for defamation (see video). Jordan does a reply via video, picks apart all the inconsistencies etc and Then suggests Bruz dumps the lawyer for someone who knows the law and what to actually do. Few days later, Barilaro picks up Christian Porters dumped lawyer and releases that Friendly Jordies is being sued - except that no formal documentation has been sent to Jordan to confirm this. Talk about morons🤦🏼‍♀️🙄😂

@@cormoran2303 yes it was settled by the parties. Part of the settlement was the withdrawal. Another part appears to be no damages and some statements by the ABC which did not include an apology. All of these moving parts will have been documented in some sort of deed of settlement. So the matter was settled. Back to my original comment
