It's based on a Stephen King story, yet has nothing to do with it, yet has all the Stephen king clichés! What went on with the only King story King himself wanted no connection to? Nostalgia Critic takes a look at The Lawnmower Man.

Can confirm, virtual reality was 100% like this in the 90s. Our local theater had a VR demo that you could try for $20. It was rediculously disappointing, but it looked so futuristic.

I have a soft spot for this movie, own the blu ray with both versions. Yeah, it’s cheesy, but as a disabled person I relate to Jobe’s character. Fun fact: my acting colleague was the soldier who holds back Pierce Brosnan when the chimp is killed in the director’s cut. Also Pierce was grieving his wife’s death during filming.
