I think the most unbelievable part of this is that Safeco Field had a graphic ready for a perfect game

I was in Camden yards during this and they had it up on the big screen between like every pitch I watched more of this game than the orioles one😂

I remember that afternoon. I was a Work From Home person even back then, and often had Twitter open in a browser window. It might have been around the 6th inning, but all of a sudden multiple people start tweeting about something special brewing at Safeco. The crowd might have been small, but I suspect TV ratings spiked after the 7th inning. I just watched the twitter feed as it happened. The Mariners had a really rough stretch for a few seasons, but hey, the perfect game is untouchable and cemented Felix as one of the greats of his era.

Love this channel and the sarcasm is top tier. The de Grom run support joke had me dead🤣🤣🤣
