I love this guy.

Stories are loved by humans because they are more logical than reality which is often confusing as fuck unless you do a deep dive into the people and history of something. Movie Bad guy had bad guy mustache all people with bad guy mustache are bad. They do things because they are bad. Simple logic. people like it. Reality. Person who is bad guy works harder than you'd ever think was possible to appear to be good guy. His actions are based on many variables we can't see. He's probably not actually bad, he just doesn't value other people or honesty. As others have pointed out. A good story has its own logic that is satisfying to the human mind when this is done well people see the movie as more real than reality.

You know like that Looney Tunes WB frog that would only sing, Hello my Baby, around another person was so nobody else would believe him. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michigan_J._Frog Michigan J. Frog - Wikipedia Edit: I forgot a lot of times it's the boy who cried wolf. They make it a character that's too young, or the person is a criminal or something. I wish that they will subvert more for good tropes.

All they had to do was put him in the foreground and then he’d at least have a reason to not see it on turning. We’d still see it, but he wouldn’t. I hate when “directors” think that just because the audience can’t see something they act like the characters can’t. Happens so often. “Oh look at house we didn’t see until the camera pointed at it even though we’re 20 feet away from it as characters.” There’s no way you didn’t see it way before shut up

I don't get these filmmakers who make these terrible ghost movies. They seem to think that showing someone walking abound with a flashlight saying nothing while nothing happens is scary or suspenseful. It's not. It's just really boring. I have seen several "scary" movies where a big chunk of the first part is taken up by this sort of thing. It's right up there with those bad found footage movies that spend 30-45 minutes on the characters just getting to where the story is going to happen for tedious, boring, pointless padding. I guess that's what you do if you have 45 minutes worth of movie but need to pad it out to feature length. You just pad it out with boring scenes of people driving or walking around some place where it's free to film while nothing happens,. Throw in some royalty free spooky music to try to convince people that something is happening. Maybe add in a cheap scare or two.
