Because as you can see, GOT is on HBO. Meaning a TV show The Last Kingdom is just a Netflix show or you can say a series. And if you ask, are people going to pay for Netflix or HBO, I think most people would pay for HBO rather than Netflix. And both have their own and different amount of viewers they can draw in or whatever etc. ----------- Other reason is GOT: Is more nudity (I guess that kinda get more people attention to it), Fantasy story (Such as Dragon and Magic)

I can’t remember anybody’s names anymore, but I also really liked the two brothers. The one that fell in love with the princess. The names are so unusual they are hard to assign to the right person. Who is Uhtred’s loyal friend? Begins with an F. Finnigan or something? Love him as well. 😋 Boy, I really need a refresher.

Honestly, before my wife and I decided to watch this I had no idea what it was about. I looked at the photos and was like "Oh, great, another cheap Game of Thrones knock off". I was wrong and glad we decided to watch it. We burned through all the seasons in a little over a week and I am just sad there is no more, at least for now.

The whole staff seems to be crazy. And that is GREAT! 😂

It's super how A.D. play Uhtred behind the scenes too 😂😂 It almost looks he's not playing, he's just living this role! 😂😂😂

Vikings wearing sunglasses= Whole new level of coolness.

It makes shows so much more enjoyable when the cast are having fun and like each other.

That hug at the end between Alexander, David, and Eliza, made me go watch S3 E8 again, just to see that beautiful scene, the last conversation between Uhtred and Alfred. That was the best way to end that intense relationship.

This is the most underrated series I have every watched it is brilliant from day one every episode is mind-blowing the actors are brilliant so happy to Netflex for not allowing it to get lost cannot wait for Friday to watch series four think AD is so good as the lead will be sad when it is finely finished the Vikings can go take a hike the Last Kingdom is amazing a much watched series love it so much 💕💖💙💗

I agree I think they could have gotten at least one more season out of it before the movie. The movie felt fast paced and several characters just disappear without explanation; Steorra, young uhtred, Aelswith, Edith, and of course Edward suddenly dies without much explanation. It deserved a 6th season just to explain some of that and to set the tone for the movie better. And then instead of the movie a 7th season would have been better. But I still love this series despite this.

The last hug... It's what i was waiting for my whole life. Thank you

I'm a late bloomer to TLK. My wife binged it upon release, and now....ahem...I see why. Seriously, this show is sensational. To tell the story of Vikings from the eyes of a Saxon is such a refreshing change.

I have been waiting impatiently for season four the moment I finished season three. This series has had nothing but great success. Thanks to Netflix for having the insight to continue on this journey!

I'm now working my way through season 5, the reason Last Kingdom is my favourite is that it hasn't lost it's way unlike a couple of other period dramas I could mention!

It is May 2023 and I STILL watch Last Kingdom at least a couple of times a week!!! They rescued me after Game of Thrones blew all of their fans up!! Yeah thanks Dan and Dave. "Oh no fantasy D & D wanted housewives and football players to like it BUT they did like it with the fantasy. I am a researcher of British history I don't like novels etc but this show was freakin' awesome and YES they DID rescue us all who after at least 4 seasons of GOT then it was practically unwatchable. mmreading another HISTORY book on the Vikings just because of LK. 'I I mean come on can YOU watch GOT passed the 4th season? I love and miss you LK and I just saw Seven Kings!!!

I love this show, the best on netflix. They all have chemistry with each other on and off camera, and I believe it adds something more to the series. Truly underrated.

Really the BEST show

I love love love this show. I binged season 1-5 for an entire week. I laughed and shed so many tears!! Great actors and actresses! I’ll definitely be buying this if or whenever it’s in stores. In my opinion it was better than Game of Thrones!!

I've just binge watched the last series. Very sad it's over...but will rewatch the whole thing again with family who havent had the pleasure :)

When i finished game of thrones i was so upset as to what to watch in medievil ,,but seriously im glad i found THE LAST KINGDOM ,,this is brillant thx so much guys bring on season 5

Show should have alot more seasons. I didn't find out about this show until this summer

hilarious when they nibbled each other’s ears along w the horses. They’re all cute and having fun...and making a wonderful show.

Love this! Uhtred is awesome, give him his just due. I've watched all four seasons straight 5 times. These actors are fantastic!
