    It's kinda sad that the old man is so worried about eagle hunting dying out because boys aren't interested in learning it, but he would still rather risk it dying out than let a girl carry the tradition forward.

    It's great that a father is encouraging his daughter to be an eagle huntress. He is doing humanity a great service by setting an example that will help eliminate the old social habits regarding women which have no place in the Modern eras. The Equality of women and men is a reality whose time has come to be unveiled, when for long time it had to be hidden and development of the girl suppressed until humanity became more mature in understanding. it's possible to live with the new customs and opportunities, and still engage in those old traditions which are positive and helpful to society.

    There were some rather obvious and avoidable mistakes in the story. For example, eagle hunting goes back about 3000 years as it was depicted in the petroglyphs (rock carvings) in Kazahstan that go back 1000-1500 BC, during the Bronze Age..

    The Mongolian elder says" I can explain the excitement of the hunt. I leave all my worries behind and live in that moment. I feel free. " That culture is compleatly around the world from me, but that could have just as well been me that spoke those words. Hunters everywhere understand what those words mean, and anyone who think hunters are cruel and don't love the animals we pursue, simply don't understand. I would argue hunters love wildlife and wild places more than any other group on earth. We are the greatest conservationist and protectors of all things wild. Every group has a few bad apples but when you find an elder in the hunting community who have dedicated their lives to the pursuit, take time to talk to them. More importantly take time to listen and I guarantee you'll learn a thing or two and you can't help but gain a certain level of respect. You'll see their love of wildlife and conservation in the words they speak.

    Kazakh people are Mongol people just like Tuva and many other Mongol Turkic speaking tribes. Mongol became bilingual. People are trying to make Mongol Empire and race two separate thing and it never was. We are all Altaic nomadic people united under Mongolia by our great Khan Chingis. It included Kazakh, Khalka, Buryad and all the other Mongol tribes. In Mongolia what we manage to keep our motherland is what we managed to separate when we got out of the Manchurian colony when Chinese took over. The arrival of the Golden Horde Mongols to Egypt resulted in a significant number of Mongols accepting Islam. By the 1330s, three of the four major khanates of the Mongol Empire had become Muslim. These were the Jochi's Ulus, Hulagu's Ulus and Chagatai's Ulus.Turkic language was adopted later by some Mongol tribes like Kazakhs and Tuva. In the Chagatai Khanate, the Turkic language that was adopted by the Mongol elites became known as the Chagatai language, a descendant of Karluk Turkic.

    Wait... I have a quick question. I apologize in advance if this question bothers you. But... do Mongolian people speak or write kinda similar to Russian? I mean is there any similarity between Russian and Mongolian language? When I look at the writing, it appears to me they are kinda alike, is that correct though? Just curious.

  • @TemuulTK

    @TemuulTK

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@Rainingggg Yes, we have adopted the Cyrillic alphabet which is the Russian alphabet after Mongolia became the second country in the world to become a communist country. After coming out of the Manchurian colony Mongolian men were made to monks, the population were in poverty due to discrimination against Mongol people in that colony. In my eyes, there are so many similarities in Russian and Mongolian people as we existed for centuries side by side but the language is not very similar. There are some words that exist in both languages or some words that in Mongol language that also in Russian language but are pronounced differently as the languages fundamental sounds are different. For instance, for centuries Mongols called Russians as "Oros" but in Russian, it became "Russ" or Russki that was adopted from the Mongolian language... and many other words but I heard foreigners thought the language sounded similar but it isn't really.
