I'm kazakh, and that's quite irritating, that the translation is not quite correct. A lot of speech was not fully translated or translated with different meaning. For an example, when her father says, "Būl meniņ zheti atamnan beri kele zhatqan dástür", he means, "this keeps being their tradition for eagle hunting for 7 generations (we kazakhs count 7 generations as its meant, that we have the same bloods till the 7th generation). Also, when he says "qız ba ūl ma, máni joq", he doesn't mean "it's not a choice", he meant, "no matter girl or boy, I'll pass my hunting skills anyways." And etc. A lot of effort to kazakh tradition was neglected.

In all languages alot is lost in translation. I understand ehat you mean. But in most languages a sentence is more a though and has different meaning in different locations of the country also. You should also take into account what is said before and after. Structure isnt based on just one sentence but in the thought of the paragraph. I am very grateful to be allowed to see into your culture. Thank you many many times over.

Dear Ansaramantur5059, thank you for your response. I am working on a project about Falconry in the Netherlands and want to show children in primary schools other examples. These children sometimes speak a little English, but I wanted to make a Dutch summary so that they understand better what happens in the film/trailer. I understand from your comment that I can't rely on the English translation. Would you be willing to help me? What are the main problems Aisholpan has to overcome to become an eagle huntress?

The Eagle. When it flies it never look above worried about predators , because when it flies it is the only predator. The perfect symbol of dominance. Like a Tiger jumping showing all its claws. Some animals are just amazing and inspiring to watch.

Its like useing dogs to flush out and hunt game but eagles would be the best lots of smal tasty critters can be to fast for dogs to catch or a waste of bullets so a apex bird of prey will easly catch dinner :D

She is shouting "Kouuka", I have two thoughts on that: 1) Maybe it's the name of the eagle 2) After she says "Ká Ká", that's what we say, whe we're calling a dog, maybe that's just the alternative version of the eagle call
