The greatest superbike rider of all time! Not because of the wins, not because of the championships, no, because you are a good guy. Even when you were dominant you still praised other riders. To be the very best without arrogance makes you No 1. I have no doubt that the wins will continue on the Yam.

It was hard watching this through a wet eye! Didn't care about the cameraman's focus as I couldn't see it anyway. I first saw a young Jonathon Rea at Croft BSB, he was well down the field but I asked my friend "who the hells that" . He and Kawasaki have certainly proved who they are.

End of a fantastic era! The best team/rider relationship in the history and will never be beaten. A legendary rider and a legendary team. Not the end just goodbye. Now a new dream for the GOAT! Good luck JR 👍🏻 Very excited for what the future holds at Yamaha.

I can imagine that was just an absolutely soul-wrenching decision to leave, but it's clear to us fans you are still very competitive and just need to a little more from the package underneath you to give you more consistent results. Why Johnny, Why ??? You used to be Kawa Hero; our HERO !!! We know they couldn't deliver the best possible bike for you, we understand your struggle. KRT knows that after your departure they'll probably have to wait a god 30 something years again to taste the sweetness of being world champions. U r the goat jr65 no-one can ever take that away from you. We all no the Ducati is a 4 year gp bike with gp technology its a joke in wssp aswell running an old superbike 1000cc twin . Ducati and dorna have ruined wsbk. Keep your head up and hit them harder in blue next season. Good luck champ
