We got the Pellet Pro 2300. We fired it up for the first time the other day, and I noticed the induction fan on the bottom of the hopper wasn't working. I called the company, and was told that sometimes the fan gets jammed during shipping. I spun it a few times with a screwdriver, and it started working. That first smoke we did, without the induction fan working, still produced great food - albeit very smoky due to the fire snuffing itself out a couple times - but the 2nd smoke we did with the fan working properly....oh my god... This smoker is amazing. Super efficient. Temp stays nice and steady until new pellets get fed in. Then it rises about 15 degrees but settles back down quickly. The induction fan seems to be variable speed, so you'll hear it doing different things depending on what the fire needs in that moment. We love the 2300 and are strongly considering buying 1 or 2 more for a restaurant.

Not a bad price really. Im comparison to the junk out there, this is pretty top notch, and the ability to put real wood splits in it helps get that extra flavor pellets usually lack

I don't know, for the price point, the double door and useless divided wall and control board is bush league at best. Needs to be a cabinet smoker with one big door like lone star smokers makes.
