Pellet Pro Vertical Smoker Burn Off

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I am on the Pellet Pro Vertical Smoker doing the burn off. Sorry for the 3.5 minutes of rough audio but POOP happens! Now I did run into a problem with the fan getting wedged from shipping but it was a very easy fix. I just took a screw driver and gave the bearing a little whack and the fan started to spin. This vertical pellet smoker from Smoke Daddy is huge and just runs! I am very excited to start cooking with this pit and can't wait to share them with all of you! Thanks for watching!!

That’s a cool looking pellet smoker. Looks like it’s better built than a lot of the others. The 3 temp gauges in the door would definitely be nice.

Y a Rus this cooker needs to hit the air waves more because this thing just runs! I am so impressed with how stable it is and how efficiently it runs!! Yes the comp guys and the small catering companies could use this cooker's extra capacity for sure! One of these days I need to load it up and put it through the test!! I have done 3 cooks on it so far with some pretty big chunks of meat in it and they all look like dwarfs in it!! haha All 3 cooks turned out spot on with zero problems, I feel like I am really cheating with this pit and I am excited to share them real soon! Thanks for watching Rus and I hope you are enjoying your weekend!!

There’s a huge amount of features to like about that smoker, they’ve really thought through the design well not to mention the temp accuracy. Tons of cooking space too for comps, parties or catering. Now I’m looking forward to the brisket! Got an ad for turning my hair blond, boy they know me well. Awesome job brother!

Great customer service also.

Oh ya I agree Victor I prefer to cook with wood or charcoal but the pellet rigs are here to stay and they have helped elevate bbq where a lot more people are now cooking for themselves. Obviously nothing tastes better than a smoked briskets with some sticks but I have had some pretty good Q off these pellet poopers also. 3/4 of my friends now have these type of grills before the only time they ain't bbq is if they were at my house or went out to get a rack a ribs at some chain restaurant. Plus now that they have gotten the basics down a couple of them have been talking about getting an offset and 10 years ago a couple of these guys couldn't microwave popcorn!!! hahaha Thanks for watching brother and have a great weekend!

@@DeadBrokeBBQ thanks for the reply. Just so I'm not misunderstood, I'm not against pellet smokers. In fact both my brothers and my mother have pellet smokers so I don't consider them a abomination ( although it can be a great amount of amusement to give folks a good ribbing. Fyi I'm thinking of getting a pet rabbit and naming it " Traeger". I'm guessing some folks will make the humorous connection 😃. ) Anyways I agree with Harry Soo " it's not the pit, it's the pitmaster " As a side bar it's my intention to finally join you good fellows and start my Y Tube channel by the first of the year. Little Bubba's Smokehouse will be the channel name and it will include farm field to table via the Smokehouse cooks. I have something special ordered from Lonestargrillz I'm looking to receiving in mid February and will be showing in a vid or two. Anyway, I apologize for going on so much. @@DeadBrokeBBQ I will definitely keep you posted on the Y Tube thing. My biggest problem currently is that I'm a cave man when it comes to the tech. But I'm learning and putting together my equipment. I hate to be a tease ( well , not really) but I'm holding off on what I'm getting from Lonestargrillz until the reveal, in February. It's a big leap in cookers for me but I recently got my business license so I can legstart my catering/ food trailer business and get out of driving truck so let's just say this new cooker will definitely increase my cooking capacity. Hey, are you interested in joining Dash and I on our sweet potatoes throw down this next season? I might be interested?!?!?! Ya the tech side is crazy. 2 ways to think about it. Video and Audio. People can accept poor video but more people click off if the audio is bad. You probably heard the difference in the audio in this video. Took me 4 hours just to get that crap fixed good enough so your ears wouldn't bleed! So I always say you can film with your phone but get a good lav so the audio is decent!! I just bought TODAY a 2nd Rode Wireless Go so I my odds of good audio does not happen!! I started with 2 iPhones and an iMac. Now I have 3 Sony Alpha's and 1 Sony ZV1. I only have 75 videos and got 13k subscribers in 1 1/2 years of actually uploading videos. Last year took 3 months off to coach football. I tell everyone you just have to press record. You got this Victor and there are a ton of videos out there on how to get started!! Ya their Patriot controller is wifi but I prefer using my thermoworks signals to watch my cook instead so I went with the standard PID. The only wifi controller on a pellet grill that I would trust are the ones that use a fireboard system. The rest are made in china and are not always as accurate as what I expect from a probe, plus I like to check my cooks every couple hours. I know it is fun to go on a motorcycle ride and start up your pellet grill from the bar but I don't own a motorcycle anyways so this controller works great for us old farts that grew up with a Tel-Tru lid thermometer and an old analog meat probe. Hi Frank!! I notice a big difference when i use the Heavy D insert! Plus a little more because of the way this camber holds the smoke in it!! All it can basically do is go up and out!! Horizontals can not make up to this style but smoke flavor really depends on the pit you are using now. My UDSs well they always have plenty of smoke flavor, my kettles well you haven't been cooking long enough if you can't say you have over smoked something a time or 2. This pit will still never over smoke anything but it has out did all my other pellet cookers still to date!! Thanks for watching and if you are interested tell Smoke Daddy Ricer sent ya!! I am not a member of that group but I can check it out. My Facebook grout Dead Broke BBQ Nation along with my other platforms keep my pretty busy as it is. ha ha I am in the center of the State. The 2300 is a awesome pit and I use this all the time for my larger cooks. It is a big pellet grill for sure! Thanks for joining the Nation brother!!

You are not that far from me, maybe someday we can hook up and I can show you that pit. I will say that it is a workhorse and if you got a need for doing 8 briskets at a time this is the pit you are looking for! Again thanks for watching!

Up in Merrill, there is an annual charity rib competition. I've always wanted to compete, but the 50 racks of ribs would be overwhelming with my Traeger and Pit Boss.

Wow 50 racks? Most of them I have been at are around 10-12 racks. The new 2300 has 7 available spots for grates and would only hold 28 racks of baby backs.

Ya Rus's cooker is made for sausage but this thing can do it also Lance! You just are running a little hotter. Now I plan to do some sausage soon and I might keep the door crack a little to help keep those temps lower at first!! Thanks for watching brother!!

$1,400 plus shipping I think. I have 3 cooks on it so far and I am very impressed with how good it runs! It is huge and one of these days I will load it up and put it through a full cooker test! Head to www.smokedaddy.com if you are interested in more info on it! Thanks for watching!!
