Just starting the episode and right away Kurt seems very excited about the state of his relationship. That’s good stuff. Really happy for him.
Kurt was a great GM for Smackdown.

@@stevencook158 factz...he was good in that role for the time. Smackdown was sooooo good from late 02-05/06 during the Ruthless Aggression era. A perfect transition from the Attitude Era/Monday Night Wars

Man I was 12 and I remember when big show threw Kurt off the balcony. I hated big show after that, I thought he killed Kurt. I ripped big shows page out of my 2003 preview magazine 😂😂
As a big fan of Kurt Angle, it was really weird to see him as the Smackdown GM but it was good to see him on TV every week and he did a great job running the show. He was entertaining as an on screen heel authority figure and he looked hilarious in a suit, thankfully it didn't last long and he returned to the ring to deliver kick ass matches.

I enjoyed seeing Kurt back as RAW GM in 2017, but they didn't write enough funny segments for him. I did enjoy the Jason Jordan storyline though.
I remember this period very well I thought Kurt was pretty entertaining as smackdown GM.
The Big Show attempted to unalive Kurt Angle by chokeslamming him on his head on the floor and Angle got his revenge by using a tranquilizer on him on Smackdown. Angle was the heel somehow.

Raw was definitely the A brand based on presentation alone even though I do agree SmackDown had the better wrestling matches overall
