The Kurt Angle Show

The Kurt Angle Show

Kurt Angle is a 14-time professional wrestling world champion, with titles collected in WWE, TNA, and Japan. He is in both the WWE and TNA/Impact Hall of Fames, a two-time NCAA Division 1 National Champion, and has also won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Summer Games with, as he likes to say, ‘a broken freaking neck.’ At every stop in his career, Angle has reached the top of the mountain, and now he’s taking his Three I’s; Intensity, Intelligence, and Integrity, to the podcast world as he joins host Paul Bromwell to take a look back at some of the matches, feuds and moments that turned an Olympic gold medalist into one of the greatest sports entertainers of all time. It’s True. It’s damn true

Lmao I was imagining 'Babyface' Rey Mysterio beating 'Heel' Kurt Angle & 'Heel' Randy Orton and Kurt's right, that sounds ridiculous.

It is important to note that Ken was 38, not 49, when he first fought Tito.😂

Buff wasn’t big time. He was Bill Watts-era Dubya Cee Dubya. He didn’t have the pedigree of a Kurt Angle or Brock Lesnar. He wasn’t exciting to watch like an Eddie Guerrero or RVD. He lacked the mic skills of a John Cena or Y2J. There were a million other guys more qualified to be in the ring who didn’t even get the chance at a WWE contract the way Buff did. He is no one to complain. His work ethic was infamously lacking as was his grasp of personal accountability. Let’s face it. Buff sucked. If he were any good, he wouldn’t have been released as quickly and as unceremoniously as he was. The guy was a male escort for crying out loud! This is not even mentioning his meddling mother or Hurricane Helms kicking the shit out of him. Buff Bagwell just didn’t have what it takes to play in the big leagues.

The match list of Angle, HHH, or Jericho all suffered because all three of those guys had great matches against Benoit.

So, we've been watching Lucha Underground in a discord server, which Rey and Chavo jr worked for, and Eddie's name kept popping up, obviously. It got me to watch some old Eddie stuff, including tributes and remembrances and that first night after his death. So many people, including Kurt, were crying, that's how much a man like Eddie meant to them. I know Eddie was that guy who was everyone's friend or found family, and it showed in that moment. Latino Heat died, the entire world mourned.

Angle didn't push forward the WWE concussion protocol. That didn't happen until 2007 when Chris Benoit died. That was a silly question to ask Kurt and i don't know why Angle said he was the poster child of it.

As a child I always hated Triple H since he was always the top heel from the time I started watching in 2000. Edge was such a good heel in 2005 that I started thinking Triple H wasn't so bad lol.
