Honestly I didn’t like this song at first because of how weird the arrangement was, but second listen I was totally drawn in! Their vocals are so unique in this song and help everything flow really well, goodluck to VIVIZ with this comeback!

@crist Never said anything was wrong with it whatsoever, I just simply said at first I wasn’t a fan. I personally found it different from songs I’ve personally listened to and therefore it came off as unusual to me. Nothing was “wrong.” I’ve changed my comment from “mixing” to “arrangement.”

I love when SinB gets to be "cute." Often they go for a "sexy/mysterious" vibe with her, but when she's being casual she seems to be a cute dork, and it's nice when they let her just be that way.

"Perfectly captures what it feels like have butterflies for somebody" YES! Took me a second listen to get into this one! It's definitely a SUMMER song, reminds me of going to the beach or something! The music video sets were super cool though, get that money BPM!

Some people got so used to how other groups do song with a very hard chorus and bang outro. Viviz going for a subtler music actually makes them stand out more. It is a perfect summer song.

This song is so refreshing especially because so many girl groups are trying to "out cool" each other with girl crush concepts or overall edger themes and this is so bright and cute.

I discovered Gfriend and Viviz within the last couple of months during a particularly hard time for me. Their music helped me deal with my anxiety and stress and it was a godsend i found them. Their music is so positive and uplifting

pd i completely agree with your interpretation of the song, i nearly felt palpitations in my heart when listening to this song, the rhythm is so fast at the same time their voices r so high, its a citric sweet sour feeling, idk it hit my synesthesia hard lol

I didn’t really like Kepler and hyolyns songs

The 2nd part of that chorus with the main "Loveade hook" being the most lowkey energy wise part of the song is wild and amazing at the same time

At the first listen, i personally loved it so much. It gave me some sort of feeling i havent felt so long. It also gave me things that bop bop didnt give. The melody is so beautiful, it was like love at first sight. Kinda felt nostalgic in some sense. I enjoyed this so much. Im just very happy that it's a bit unexplainable how i am feeling right now.

The sound of this song is very groovy and perfect for summer. I can hear some elements of funk and the synthpop that Carly Rae Jepsen is doing during her E•MO•TION era. Some even say it reminds them of Sistar specially in the chorus.

I love this song at first listen, but now obsessed after a few more listen. Umji is so fabulous omg

I speak as a buddy, this song is so comfortable and inviting and even tho I neeeeever thought I'd say this, actually makes me happy that everything went as it did for viviz to exist and now to have released this song. amazing at first listen and every time you listen to it it gets better still. the mini album is fucking amazing too and i don't say that lightly. bb wasn't 100% my thing but this has made me a believer in their company LOL

i think the song is super weird in the start and into the first chorus, then after the first chorus it gains more structure and you start to get the vibe of it and then it's good, that makes a lot of sense for describing love i guess haha

i loved the weird arrangement of the song!! the first chorus was like... is that the chorus? there wasn't like a big drop in the pre-chorus and the transition to the 2nd verse was smooth. then as it progresses it gets more... breath-taking and incredibly high (vocal-wise and feel-wise lmao). such a refreshing and dreamy song, i hope it gets more attention considering that there is just so many comebacks this season

My theory why umji's scene was shot a little dark it's because she keeps on practicing, as you can see no arrows are on the dart or target because she kept on missing it On Eunha just like umji she kept on practicing her routine in a ballet Sinb I think she was like a vendor or something

My idea about the MV is that it's supposed to represent their worries or insecurities and the girls learn the end to love themselves regardless of their flaws: *Eunha falling while practicing could represent how she's very insecure about her dance skills* _(During Queendom, Eunha was mocked for her dancing online for the opening performance to the point she even apologized for her lacking :/ she also was very upset that she failed the jump choreo in the 2nd round which made her cry)_ *Sinb messing up the drink at the truck and making a mess, losing the smile balloon could represent how she usually didn't show her emotions and that people just see her as being arrogant or stuck up* _(due to her resting bitch face)_ *but really she has hurt alot* _(The best example of this is of course Queendom, people aggressively tried to hate Sinb because of the way Mnet edited her or the way she simply spoke. People even warned others that Sinb isn't angry or upset, but her face is just like that. This includes the infamous phone scene. Despite alot of these moments gaining her popularity with some people, the fact that she was made a spectacle based off of others' negative assumptions of her especially after a time when she wasn't in a right place due to Gfriend's disbandment, still probably bothers her)_ *Umji shooting the arrow and always missing despite practicing so much represents how she admitted that she wasn't as well trained as her group mates and her missing the guy after hitting him so much could be her fear that her "failures" would turn people away from her* _(On Queendom during the Purr stage, Umji admitted that it took her longer to learn choreography because she was the member who had the shortest training period before debut. Umji was the only member of Gfriend who had never been under another company and so her addition to the group compared to years of training by her groupmates made it hard on her. On top of that, Umji was a victim of online bullying for her appearance and weight during Rough. It was so bad, Umji purposely tried to hide herself during broadcasts.)*_ All of these experiences resulted in Loveade's ending and message: _no matter how hard things were/are, you will always find something to love about yourself even if its flawed_

That sounds so sweet. Actually, Eunha has during the whole video a sad expresion on her face. SinB... Sorry... But... I can not understan ever how anyone can watch her and feel bad vibes. She looks on her own world most of the time... And Umjina George (sorry but after Bop Bop! In Queendom and with that red hair... She has to be the Queen Bee) has the most beautiful eyes I have watched in the whole K-Pop and I follow them since LoL. How anyone can not be captivated for her eyes is beyond me and now with her sassy attitude she shines even more.

Love your reaction and it cheers me up to see how discombobulated you responded when reacting to the song for the first time, but it is how I felt when I first watched the MV. I thank you for putting the feeling into words. It's oddly refreshing and sweet yet sentimental about the song, except I couldn't quite place in any place I could recognize. Your comments gave me the guide to sort out my own reaction. Viviz surprised me and it took a moment to become attached to it. This is such an unexpected song. And it is nice to know what a brain burst looks like 😊

I feel exactly the same when I first hear the song, but when I watched it again it's getting better and better

At first, I thought how loveade is simply good and i loved its simplicity. But hearing your comments and review, I now realized how well prepared this first comeback is and loveade is simply a summer song perfection. I really loved how loveade provided a new concept for summer 😍

This song is like chef’s kiss . It’s SO addicting even the choreography but everyone is sleeping on them & it makes me so sad . This song is GOLDEN especially the “I love it, love it, love it, love it, iiiiiiced Loveade!” part . It’s very beautiful & sweet just like you said . It’s just so enjoyable ! I can imagine them performing this at a festival at night lighting up the stage . This song is just everything .

😆 I can say that I felt something different with this song. It was like "tingling sensation on your first sip of drinking lemonade and feeling refreshed" I can't explain why 😭

PD went on a rollercoaster ride here! From calling it weird, to straight up vibing, to disliking the MV, to professing his love for the production team and then mad that the MV was shot almost exactly how he would've done it. hahahahaha!

i became a fan of viviz after they were announced as performers for mik festival in london and i wanted to get to know all the acts before going ~ i went ahead and listened to bop bop and their whole first mini album and i was obsessed so i was super excited to be a fan. when loveade dropped i listened to it and INSTANTLY fell in love with it; i think it's an amazing song and it gave me such a wonderful chilling feeling in the best way possible when i first heard it ~ i didn't think it was weird at all which is why i was shocked when i heard that people were divided by it lmao

I love this song so much and I felt seen when you were describing what you loved about the song and what makes it so magical. I'd recommend looking at some of the promotional/teaser photos for this comeback because when initially saw some of them, my brain went "This feels like an 80's workout vibe" so I actually anticipated an 80's sound for this comeback. It's such a delicate song and reminds me of stereotypical romcoms where the main character gets heartbroken and becomes apprehensive towards love and then falls for their best friend who loved them the whole time

This was such a good and funny reaction hahaha I absolutely fell in love with loveade at first listen, and it's getting even better but OMG it's sooo good!! I really liked the little story about art at the end, so interesting!

This is something Red Velvet would normally do and its great something like this comes out in a kpop world full of forced girl crush concepts.

i didn't like the song at first. the intro was very... plain? it sounded like a typical summer comeback from groups who wanted a chill and soft vibe. but when they sang "i love it, love it, love it, love it, ice loveade" i DIED and was resurrected again. it is literally perfect

I love it because of how different it is as a summer song. It's such a refreshing sound. The bass is like the summer heat and their voices are like a cool mist in the sea breeze. I love it 💛

i LOVED the way you expressed your feelings about this song, this song really managed to describe the strangeness and happiness about love, and this what makes a song really memorable for me. it will age like fine wine i can guarantee

He is so sweet talking about how he would made the video. I would love to watch his MV. So, I did not love it but after I listened the whole album I found myself singing it. I love it is diferent, I love is not your traditional summer song, I love there is a diferent kind of complexity instead of only robust high notes, I love the chorus sounds as if they sing together, I love the chill atmosphera it generates but above all I think is original in his own way. Viviz is defining its sounds and I am liking what I am listening. I am actually sure I am going to buy first this comeback album and later the debut one.

It is a weird song, at least at first. It doesn't follow the typical Kpop formula with regard to a really obvious pre-chorus and build-up with rapid percussion/bass and then the "leap" into the main chorus like we are used to. The chorus just sort of blends in smoothly with the verse, which does take first listeners off guard, but honestly, I give them points for thinking outside the box here. (Nothing wrong with traditional Kpop formulas though, I'm always a sucker for them.) Either way, this has a nice summer breeze sort of vibe to it, and the vocals are top-shelf, as expected. 🥰

This song is so 2nd Gen Summer bop and love every second of it. The only thing missing is 'Brave Sounds' tag in the beginning ;) It's quite a long time I didn't hear a KPop song about falling in love with someone.

ViVIZ's agency is BPM Entertainment. They operate in-house system so that they produce MV, too. And when I saw their youtube channel and instagram, I could know BPM has a high-level contents team!

frankly speaking, the first listen did not make a large impact until the second half of the song..... then on the second listen onwards, i feel that this is such a gem of a song. i do not know why but it is so calming and makes me want to repeat the song again and again

I didn't know anything abt kpop in general, but I really like the music these girls are releasing. Red Sun was the main reason I decided to listen to Summer Vibe and I was truly amazed. "Unbelievably chilling" is a really great way to describe this one lol. It's calm but at the same time really bright with those synths and the bright vocals in the chorus. Then they throw in the ice loveade section that slows it down. It's just so nostalgic, romantic, and sweet. Very few songs, especially summer ones, really make me feel something like this. Not to mention the verses are interesting/fresh and aren't just an afterthought to make a catchy chorus work. Obsessed.
