This remake was truly amazing. Thanks MickeyFan1909 for adapting it and thank you 22Tesla for creating such a scary story. I freaked out when I saw it’s face! Talk about next level horror, just like the faces of the victims from the movie “The Ring”

This was really spooky. I loved the atmosphere used for the scrapyard. Poor James will never look at scrap the same way again. The man who made the “experiment” got what he deserved, though I do feel sorry for him off course. Great works on this adaptation Mickey. Keep up the good work.

@@MickeyFan1909 I've watched lots of Thomas and Friends ghost stories and to a good level of creativity they were good but this is the best one I ever watched, and I don't know if any more that I watch in the future will be as creative as this one but I will say it is well well created, well told and I give it a 10 out of 10

This is gonna give me nightmares. Imagine living near a track that’s not used much, but suddenly, you hear the sound of the strange puffing, rusty wheels turning, a slow, mournful whistle, the sound of whispers, and then… the giant shape rolling past. You can’t see it’s face, but you know it needs help finding peace.

Hauntingly 'spooktacular' adaptation! Granted, I did get a little creeped out by the scrapped engine's face during that flashback scene. Imagine how Gordon would've reacted about one of his scrapped siblings being turned into a monster.

That killdane experiment is a A1 class engine. He's one of Gordon and flying Scotsman's younger brothers in 1966. The one James Saw last night. It had been over 67 years ago. In 2023. Poor Guy.

Personally I believe the story of the Killdane Experiment is one of the saddest fan-made Thomas stories ever. Three scrapped locomotives crudely amalgamated into one single engine, suffering and in constant pain, now doomed to roam the scrapyards for eternity…

This was really a chilling and spooky Halloween adaptation of the killdane experiment Mickey, gotta admit you really did a nice job on it along with the scenes at the scrapyards, very nice job Mickey, and happy Halloween of 2023. 🎃👍

You know, I think this tells us a message in a way. The "message" is that there does exists fates that are more cruel and not as forgiving as death. The fate of eternal suffering like what the 3 engines of the "Killdane Experiment" have to go through, makes you want to wish you were never robbed of your final reward of eternal peace, let alone being reborn as a Frankenstein and suffer eternal torment.

Finally! An adaptation done right the way I pictured it! The visuals, the scenes, and even its nightmarish face where it’s just sockets and a mouth. The fact that 3 different engines were merged together with their souls to create an abomination of a scrap engine and its sheer size is truly a terrifying Frankenstein like locomotive that roams the rails, all fighting against death to find rest. But their spirits have been awakened, and disrupted from their final resting places, forced to be alive. But the undead being still lurks the smelters, too scary to be acknowledged, and too out of shape to be useful. *I t s t i l l r o a m s .*

My version of the Killdane Experiment is generally the same. The main differences are: - NE region tender replaced with an LMS Princess Royal one - GWR Castle Class Cab - SR N15 Smoke Deflectors The A1 boiler and 9f chassis remain the same

Yeah and if I recall correctly, that engine or the engine of different parts of dead ones was the same engine that was in the beginning part of the episode “Halloween!” As Michael Anglies said, “They all love to hear stories about ghost engines and scary steam trains!”

That was most like Frankenstein's Monster of an engine, given the horrific circumstances of it!

I find this story more sad than scary, it’s literally a story of a man who created a Frankenstein locomotive monstrosity out of DEAD TRAINS and ended up disturbing the souls of those who owned them parts, now them said souls are haunting the area for they’re stuck together and can never rest peacefully ever again all because one man decided to “play god”

Absolutely outstanding. I was never expecting to see the face of the killdane experiment. Yet it goes without saying that the sound of the killdane experiment is soo Gruetest makes me want to vomit.

And that folks, is why you never play with the dead and the supernatural.

This is very good. I think all we need now is a backstory for Edwards ghost engine from the episode Scaredy Engines.

I don't think I've seen anyone adapt this story. Maybe someone has prior to this but I've not seen it. The shots of the experiment moving through fog looks very creepy. Very well done. 👍

Ironically, I can't blame the man for what he did. He was trying to help steam. I even came up with a rather unrealistic design, an N&W A Class 2-6-6-4 with the drive wheels of a Pennsy T1. I might just adapt it for my own spooky story.

That scrap engine I remembered the Halloween episode with this particular ghost engine going by I was so scared when the engine went by I always thought as a little kid I’d see that engine going by my window at night I never looked at night lol

I wonder what would happen if an unconscious person was found in the scrapyard

I love the way how the Killdane Experiment looks like and possibly if it was an actual engine. Though I don’t think using rusty, scrap bits of different engines be a good idea to use for construction. PS to everyone: never use old engine scraps to build a new engine for you just ruined their rest.

It seems when that engineer constructed his custom engine by recycling other engines into it, the spirits of those who were used in that ghost locomotive awakened having their rest disturbed. Now they haunt the Sodor Ironworks as one phantom engine like a hive mind. Trapped in a limbo state.
