The Kid LAROI: 'THE FIRST TIME', Friendship with Justin Bieber & Loss | Apple Music

Музыка

Australian singer-songwriter The Kid LAROI joins Zane Lowe for an intimate conversation about his rise to fame and new album, ‘THE FIRST TIME’.
The Kid LAROI talks through his fear of losing everything he’s worked for by wasting money or through embarrassment in the public eye and admits to dealing with constant anxiety and explains how it affects the maintenance of his familial relationships. The Kid LAROI mentions how the development of his friendship with Justin Bieber has taught him to be more vulnerable, open, and honest. LAROI admits that although he used to feel the need to fulfill a role for the masses, he is now dedicated to being authentic in doing whatever he wants to do.

Indeed. That's why I have veiled scorn on paparazzis and obsessed fans making their lives hard. Sure they're celebrities and they should get used to obsessed fans and paparazzi, but it isn't a carte blanche to constantly interfere in their down time. At that point they're treated as objects. Look how it affected JB.

Justin isn't just a friend to Kid Laroi... he's also a surrogate big brother. At least KL will be more prepared for future thanks to Justin. And Laroi really shouldn't blame himself for not doing more for JW. A 15 year old doesn't have the same perspective as an adult. It wasn't something that he could have control. Also I hope he doesn't lose his down-to-earth personality. Its one his strengths as a person.
