Tiffani’s underwear story about getting picked on in school, reminds me of when a classmate in tenth grade spread a rumor that I was gay. He told our class that he saw me in the hallway holding hands with my best friend. Everyone came up to me, relaying what they heard, which instantly brought me to tears. Not to sound conceited, but I think he did that because I was better-looking than him. He had terrible acne and looked like Craig Mack (no disrespect to the dead). Prior to that incident, our class went on an overnight field trip, and the girls were fawning over not just how nice I looked in casual attire (we went to private school), but also in a swimsuit at the hotel's pool. I was very socially inept and awkward, so I guess my "off the clock" appearance took them by surprise. Kind of like when the cliche nerd in a TV sitcom gets a makeover. A week later, the bulletin board in the hallway had pictures from our trip, including of me at the pool hugged up with one of the girls in my class. Several girls were talking about that picture and how nice I looked with my shirt off. So I think that’s what triggered “Craig Mack” to start that rumor.
