The price tag on this one is a huge improvement over the slidemills sold in the past with the previous ones going into thousands of dollars at best. If I recall well, 2 or 3 years ago you wouldn't be able to go below 5 THOUSANDS to get one. So ~1k price makes it a valid option when you consider it for what it is, as well as that even high-end headsets sell for more than that. Not bad at all

Whoaa! The possibilities for this is so much. Not just for games, but for the VR Treadmill's funtionality as well.

I have a question, I've been unable to use the Kat Gateway software with Opencomposite, have you run into this issue? Can't use steamvr with my quest because it runs really poorly, so I have to use opencomposite, but I get this error message when I try to open kat gateway with opencomposite:"opencomposite dllmaine Error: Cannot init VR: unsupported apptype 3"

How does this handle weight for bigger guys. I'm about 215lb of muscle and plan to bulk again just don't want to purchase this if it won't be able to handle the weight.

Which game "requires" you to crawl on the ground? I only know one that was released in 2016. But any game since uses a button to get in crawl position. Then thumbstick. Which game were you thinking?

Its a bitch to set up AND regualrly has glitches which take a while to troubleshoot. Its a solid tech that is REALLY cool when it works but As someone who owns one Unless you have 1200 dollars to burn I would pass and wait for future less early/buggy iterations.

Anyone complaining about the cost is definitely a “choosing beggar”. Something like this could easily cost $5,000 at least so $1,000 is literally affordable af. I’ll say it with my whole chest…..just because YOU can’t afford it, doesn’t make it too expensive, you’re just broke (I’m a broke bitch myself) Y’all forget this is brand new, evolving technology.
