He could have competed. Not win. You need Boxing AND grappling + wrestling to deal with an experienced kung fu user Boxing isnt enough against an art that uses hands & legs. You gotta know takedowns, jabs and ground sprawling. Then He'd win. But boxing alone isn't enough, easily get leg swept, joint locked or front kicked. Chinese arts are made to destroy, Boxing is a sport. You need more.
