Honestly, if LRZ doesn't start as punt returner you are missing a trick. He's an open field specialist and catching "punts" is a standard skill in rugby for players of his position.

The thing to remember about LRZ is that he has never been a pure athlete i.e. a 100m/200m sprinter, who has learned how to do starts and phases etc. He's a natural speedster who can run fast, swerve at speed, and run angles at speed etc. He also comes from a sport where he had to learn to react rather than learning plays. He can also take a hit - without padding or helmets. If he can adapt, he will have a few extra positives. They just have to find the best position for him, and he must be prepared to spend time on the practice squad.

NFL is going to learn what a hand-off is when trying to tackle LRZ, they have no idea what's coming 😂 . lRZ was not just a rugby player, he was one of the most dangerous backs. The guys in his position, look like ants compared to him. Also in rugby, you play what's in front of you and you have to make a lot of decisions really quickly because you can kick the ball to yourself and catch it and all sorts of other stuff, so learning a set play book should be a breeze for him.

Pre season is looking good for the Chiefs. Quite a lot of speedy runners. Xavier Worthy has set the record for the 40 yard dash. New signing Louis Reese Zammit has an opportunity to make it as Running Back. Being a rugby player myself, American Football is new to me. However I am a big fan of Louis. If I'm correct Running Back means he receives the ball from the QuarterBack behind the offensive line. He has to make it through the thick of play with ball in hand. That's different from Receiver because he doesn't have to worry about catching the ball, under pressure. He is adapting well to Kansas mentally and I feel he has what it takes to be first choice position. There will be many revelations made in his first game. Can I just say, Louis is a very powerful 'rugby' now 'NFL' player. Does this mean it will be harder to stop him? Because Football is different to rugby. He is surprisingly big for his speed.

I'd want LRZ to learn first; get the basics down, master the basics. His awareness is around 10% (generously) if he is ranked. SF49ers had a similar project, if flopped coz their guy didn't develop his football IQ. They rushed him onto the field, his speed, strength, tackle breaking ability meant nothing. Opponents quickly figured out his style of play. Oh yeah, NFL defensive coordinators are great in figuring out how to stop elite players, imagine a newly born baby in the game of football.

He runs up right, yes! That’s because Rugby is about full contact, Grabs!!!! Unlike NFL where they tend to use more shoulder chargers than Actual grab tackles. You have to run upright in order to fend as the line of scrimmage is pretty straight and singular except for the Full Back who is the only one who’s plays the backfield. I’ve watched plenty of NfL tackle vids and honestly, if they try that with LRZ, he will have a field day with them.

@@WalesTheTrueBritons he can't cut the way he runs man. He's just straight line. That's not hard to stop in football.

Jered Wiley is the best pic they got the rest are so so xzavier is fast but he can't catch to many drops at this level that's. Killer. The chiefs will be good but I don't see a 3 mrd Superbowl for a while. The other teams are catching up now
