In my games the Hindenburg crash exactly on May 7 of 1937, probably they changed it in last update?

It's weird Hapsburg Hungary can't reform the HRE but a Hohenzollern Germany can.

Fun fact: If you pick the bottom option in the delegation event, you get Mackensen back...but Mackensen is coded to die in the 40s if he's still the country leader, which gives you Wilhelm III as Kaiser. Yes, the one that already died. As far as I can tell having a zombie Kaiser confers no additional advantages or disadvantages.

I'd probably leave the corridor, Poznan, upper Silesia and even the entire east to Poland after the war, so you can get the stuff as core territory in the "Danzig for Guarantees" focus. It seems they always accept that focus no matter what.

People always clown on the hre. But imagine having a mega France in Europe because there wasn't a strong enough buffer.

Me, I saw the phrase reform Holy Roman Empire under Kaiserin, and I smashed that button just for the what if feel.

HRE is one of my favorite tags to form in this game, although the path is really convoluted and filled with manual war justification the country still gets such pretty borders (and i simp for victoria!).

Dispersed is good for rapidly upgrading tech and factory numbers, concentrated is good to produce a large amount of one thing with a similar factory count throughout the game

I don't know how you, but maybe Paradox have to change or reform economy like civilian which would give bonuses to build: civilian factories, railway, infrastructure and other civilian infrastructure. But to make some balance, civilian economy will give big debuffs to military infrastructure. Also it would be interesting that if you choose civilian economy then you also getting bonuses to research civilian technologies but also getting debuffs to research military technology

You should try forming the HRE but with austria using the Between two Giants mod, it is really fun

A trick you can use for the civil war is changing all you units to 1 anti-air battalion, then after the civil war starts then switch them back. The AI doesn’t like to change the template, so it will be stuck with bad divs to man the frontline. I use this trick all the time for the Russian civil war

Try 1945 Endsieg again but this time with the negative modifiers

I did order the blue tank design! Alltho it has been 10 days and still no word on the delivery! I didnt know they would come from the USA aswell so yea... :D

Recommend doing soviet collabs earlier rather than later... Their spy defence gets wild later on and your spies will get caught all the time. Not too bad if you go early enough tho. Getting the illusive gentleman so you can keep 1 maintaining the network whilst 2 run missions back to back really speeds it up too.

i pretty much always do the early Poland conquest in my Germany playthroughs now. Only time when I don't is when I do early invasion of Netherlands for Wilhelm II, just so Belgium isn't as hard to get through

What they should implement ins Wilhelm IV who gave up his right to succession to marry a low noble. I can almost guarantee that he wouldn't have went to the royal meeting since he gave up his right to the throne. However I believe he would have came back if his entire family died. Paradox should really consider doing that since he was the last crowned prince of Prussia, and it makes more sense for the formation of the HRE.

the ai cannot micromanage like a player can and it moves troops around with garrison and frontline orders, if you tag over to an ai nation in war you will see that there is a lot of armies with 1-2 divs in it

Fun fact: if germany and austria are together in a faction for long enough, germany will get an event allowing them to make an anschluss, found that out in my german empire run

Polland can return your cores through focus, no need to conquer them

I had like 20 attempts and soviets ALWAYS stop me. Idk what's wrong. Here, in your video, it seems like they barely have troops, you push through them, you rush VP - when I try it, it takes them like 2 days and they have the WHOLE front fully covered, when my tanks even break through the front line and drive few tiles, regular troops can catch and stop them from pushing further or suddenly troops just appear on empty tiles - full equipment, full org. Like... WTF? Anyone got ANY tips?
