I agree any new artists that come about will be popular because of who they are as people not bc they were forced into a cookie cutter. I do think bang pd gave BTS values that a lot of companies should start using though like how they choose leaders and how they help members resolve fights and give their artists artistic freedoms to make music.

I've been giving Mr. Bang Si-Hyuk the suspect side-eye a lot lately. 😕I'm an American, but I LOVED it that my precious BTS was wholly Korea's sons & pride & joy. 😍The U.S. music industry has been jealous & treacherous of BTS at every opportunity the entire time they shined. NOW you want your company to swim in the back-stabbing, shark-infested, mediocre talent waters over HERE? Don't dirty up my boys, Mr. Bang Si-Hyuk, & have them swim in it too. I'm hoping his album will be full of surprises. Not sure why he went down this generic route so far. He keeps saying he wants to try different genres but all I'm hearing is the same type of music. I'm imagining Too Much to be more or less the same. JK could have done ANYTHING. He himself said he wanted to even try classical music at one point. Please do it! He could try African beats, folk music, reggae, SOMETHING! We already have a million American artists who can put out something like Seven or 3D. I'm not seeing or hearing anything exciting. I'm just... shocked. Like you, I'm just ready for BTS to be back together again.

Wow you don't even listen to jungkook. Jungkook said he wants to easily move between kpop and pop music without limits. He wants to challenge his voice. Jungkook said he wants to try different styles of music. Seven and 3d were completely different styles of music. Seven was UK gargde music 3d is r&b pop.

It's extremely rare for lightning to hit the same place twice. BTS is once in a lifetime. I'm sure the new group will be great, but they should never be compared.

Many misleading titles on social media, not a good practice. A trap I fell into, as surely I do not wish to see another BTS. So, Bloomberg cannot rely on titles reflecting the actual content to attract readers, they have to manœuvre ...😂 Any title with words BTS and the Chairman's would have sufficed though 😅

He is a buisness man and I respect his insight. He is an inspirational guy. Without his vision there wouldn't be BTS. BTS and Bang Si Hyuk met each other's energy and a masterpiece was born. I hope the korean history books talk about Bank Si Hyuk too.

In general, since I know how media works, I don’t believe in the headline/titles, but when I see people who happened to watch it or read articles before me and didn’t complain about it, then i know the headline/title is probably trash or that they purposely mislead/sensationalize it to get traffic/clicks.

BTS has made Korea and Hybe alot money and is their biggest K-pop band and will remain the biggest K-pop band once they return. There is no one like BTS or has the support as of ARMY like BTS and we ARMIES are going no where. We will be waiting for our boys to be done their military service with open arms as always.

If I were them, I would focus on work with bts to make them bigger and bigger. We found stars, that's so rare rare rare rare with rare rare rare fandom. Media should stop this the next- that nonsense narrative.

To be clear, there is NO "next BTS!" Bangtan is who they are and what they are because of WHO they are! Unless you can clone each one of those men, anyone who comes after will be uniquely their own... NOT "another" BTS. 💜

They don't mean the next BTS so much as the next group that could hit it big. I have been with BTS since 2013 and like it or not they are getting older. As someone who used to dance, I can tell you their bodies will start to not like all that dancing and jumping around. Some of them smoke, their lungs will not be able to keep that up after so many years. They are getting older. Time will take its toll. Most Army, like me, will be happy listening and watching them if they just sat on a sofa and sang. I really hope BTS will be around for another 20 years or more. I want to see them age, get married, have children (if that is what they want). There will be more groups that will hit super stardom, but no one will replace BTS but more like step up beside them.

This man completely changed the concept of music as an industry. "Music for healing" he said at the beginning of each video... He was blessed to find the members of BTS but gave them an environment for them to develop and shine in the "demanding music industry." Its concepts (explained in BTS theories) and generating all of that is really proof that Bang PD is at another level of production. Luv you Bang PD 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜and infinite thanks!!! I dont like how he completely underplayed Jungkook's talent . In the very first question of the interviewer, Bang PD completely side lined talking about JK's talent but in the next question he unabashedly wants to attribute the entire credit to Scooter Braun for bringing the song and himself for "guiding and supporting" jungkook through the song. If it wasnt for JK's vocals, hard work, voice, talent and his magnetic pull of millions of fans, the albums would not have become a hit and Bang PD would not continue his golden streak. GIVE CREDIT WHERE ITS DUE! They always do this to Jungkook and the poor boy does not even care.

BTS is the only BTS, just like there will never be another Michael Jackson, Prince, etc. They are all one of a kind extremely talented people who have worked very hard to get to where they are.

I don’t agree with Bang about his research on the music industry and what is going on especially in regards to the American market. The American market is pretty flat except for the kids that come here from other countries. It use to be a great market until rap came out. It wasn’t the rap technique that was not accepted but the filthy lyrics that came with it. I remember when it got so bad that it was talked about on the evening news. If you compare the market of today with the market before rap it is like night and day. Award shows like the Grammys and award shows were extremely popular and now hardly anyone cares about them. When BTS came into the picture the Grammys were packed and people cared again. They were new, different, refreshing and they had rap in their songs but these kids were reverent, humble, polite, kind , wholesome not to mention handsome and talented and they focused on their fans and how they could make everyone inclusive. That is what people fell in love with, it was the whole package! K-pop has taken over markets all over the world but other music markets are trying to take over the market he has created and want to tap into his success, especially here in America. Scooter Braun is the last thing he needed but he hasn’t realized that yet. The minute he got his hands on JK the filthy language and continual sexual innuendos started immediately. Yes, the songs are selling but not because of their content but because of JK’s persona, who he is and the reputation he had built, not because he is being misled! He had a lot of blow-back from the Seven song because they didn’t want him going in that direction but the American management is telling him this success stems from what they are telling him to do. He was already at the top of his game and in no way needed the garbage Scooter is feeding him. V is a perfect example of how little they need Scooter Braun. He is sticking to his Korean style and is also at the top of his game along with Jimin! The same goes for all the collaborations which Scooter is working overtime on, which are JK’s competition and are chomping at the bit to get to his level. JK needs them like he needs another hole in his head. Scooter is just using JK to build up clients for himself as he destroyed all those he had. Remember Justin Bieber, the nice kid that came to America to make music from Canada and everybody loved him? All of a sudden he is this tattooed from head to foot hellion that is getting in trouble with the law, singing filthy songs, and hanging out with these south central Los Angeles wannabes. Now I am reading about him being in and out of the hospital and is sick all the time and doctors can’t seem to figure out exactly what is wrong with him. I am wondering if it had to do with how he was living his life. JK is as naive as Justin was when he arrived in America and it makes me sick to my stomach to think that the same thing will happen to JK if Bang and Big Hit don’t pull their heads out and wake up to all the smoke that is being blown their way! Absolutely nothing Scooter Braun says should be believed! The IPO will be the beginning of the end for BTS because the industry is controlled and Bang has no idea how corrupt it is here in America. He has no idea the Grammys are fixed along with everything else in the music industry. Due diligence was sorely needed before the IPO and now an extremely watchful eye is of the essence! Latin music industry is no where close to what K-pop is doing. Where is he getting his information? He didn’t become a billionaire overnight because K-pop fading. If that were the case his stock would be worthless! If his intentions are to come here to the US for more market share he had betting think real long and hard about it as I am afraid they will eat him lunch and I can guarantee Scooter Braun will not do anything to enhance his portfolio! Scooters on the take and not one to give! Ask Taylor Swift as she is the only one that came out smelling like a rose because she took him to court and got out from under him after he totally tried to screw up her career. Even Bieber made a statement that he hadn’t had anything to do with Scooter in ages and he just does his own thing. He gets no help whatsoever from Scooter. Money and power makes people greedy , destructive and untrustworthy!

Wow this dude's entrepreneurial mindset is at a large enterprise level. He's all about how to scale at a global level. Exactly what I expect from a CEO.

At the very beginning, I thought the guy said “With two thumbs from Jungkook…” lol. Anyways, Bloomberg’s title/headline is misleading, Bang PD never said/implied that in this interview at all, the first 2 min 46 seconds are about BTS, the rest is him answering Bloomberg’s questions about other Hybe stuff. Media people always like to make misleading headlines or titles, which lead to misinformation most times because a lot of people do not watch watch the whole thing or read their full articles. I respect that Bang did not entertain that guy’s question about plans for the members’ solo stuff, but that he told them honestly that he does not think it’s appropriate for him to comment on the members’ solo projects because their “solo project is an opportunity for them to show artisitic aspects that they were not able to show previously when being part of a group. Through this process, each member is learning and growing. And I cheer on their achievements.” Thank you, Bang.

To be fair to him, SB came to him rather than the other way around but surely you can understand why some fans feel that there is an inequality of effort behind the seven members as a whole especially when others have also had solo projects that were not promoted in the US. Others' also went on other shows and RM even went onto a indepthe new show. Plus there were individual documentary type shows they put out on Disney + and much much more. I am a big fan of BTS, and let me just say this: the juvenile comments from stans in this comment section repeating old cliches are such put offs. BTS would be embarrassed by all of you.

Does it mean that if Seven and 3D were not offered to Jungkook,hev would still be jobless until now? And without Scooter's help,NO album for Jungkook? Yes. He would still be in his apartment doing nothing. Thank God for Fifa, Charlie Puth, and Scooter for recognizing his talents and giving him the opportunities that he deserves. That company is not taking advantage of his talents. And now they didn’t know he became this big with only 2 songs. I’m so mighty proud of him. He deserves all the success and more. I can’t wait for his album.

The title of this video 🤦🏻‍♀️ you’re either ignorant or deliberately doing this for views! Maybe do some research it doesn’t take a lot to know why there will and could never be another BTS anywhere else. BTS is BTS because it’s those specific 7 people together. Period

Bang PD and BTS have so much mutual respect 💜💜💜

Bang PD has got it going on. He is one smart cookie! He's not trying to recreate BTS or make another BTS. People keep thinkinging thats what he is saying. He's trying to create an atmosphere where artist grow and bring thier music and talents to fruition. A way to search out the best there are out there. And give them the oppertunity to make good. Which is what the music industry should have been all about in the first place. Instead we have , in the US, Mafia owned companys who buy and sell people. Rob them of their talent and sign them into contracts where they barely make money to survive. They own the award shows and pay radio stations to play thier favorites. It's a slimey, corrupt business. And I think Bang PD is a breath of fresh air trying to promote talented people the right way. I just hope he stays far away from the gangsters who own the American music industry.

I only have 7 words to say: There. Will. NEVER. BE. A. Next. "BTS" 😐💜

in case you didnt know Sir, BTS cannot be duplicated, Bang might be looking for another Kpop sensation but BTS will never be replicated or duplicated.

So, Bang Si-hyuk has handed JK over to Scooter, and the result is obvious--chart-topping, mediocre music that is neither innovative nor artistic. JK's extraordinary talent is being wasted on formulaic fodder for the chi-ching. I had a bad feeling three years ago when BigHit partnered with Universal Music Group and removed the "Music & Artist for Healing" tagline from their videos. Sad.

Exciting to think of strength synergy - and hearing Bang Si-Hyuk describe those strengths, his vision, strategic plans. Innovation, revolution. Powerhouse!

Thanks for the interview but that's a horrible video title. "The Next BTS?" Really? You can't duplicate BTS. They grew organically. The music industry needs to take a deep dive into BTS to understand this. Do your research please before coming up with these silly titles and questions.

I love that he’s always looking ahead! It’s so interesting to hear his plans for the future and I loved that he didn’t comment on the individual activities of the members, just saying it’s them pursuing what they want before returning to the group essentially 💜 Excited to see how they enter the Latin American market and how their efforts in the US will continue to pay off.

The more I listen to this man the more I realize how much of a genius he is

In an interview re "In the Soop," he talked about the importance of letting the artist grow spiritually, creatively, individually. Super cool dude. On another note... Bang SiHyuk has the recipe to develop good groups, but there will never be another BTS. N.E.V.E.R. Each 7 is a rare and unique ingredient, who came together in perfect timing, each fill a niche role in the group that can't be filled by anyone else. The 7 pieces of the puzzle fit perfectly to form one inimitable masterpiece. I would risk sounding even more delulu in saying that these 8 had no choice....Bang SiHyuk was a shepherd to 7 little lambs...as orchestrated cosmically. 2025 Bangtan Bangtan BangBangtan!!! ❤💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

The title of this video is misleading. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! It's so disappointing. Whoever wrote this title, needs and SHOULD go back to school. WHY? Because the Title or Heading should ALWAYS be a summary of the whole thing. Be RESPONSIBLE!

There is NO "next BTS". There is only BTS. They are uniquely themselves and that is why we love them so. There is no magic recipe to reproduce another.

I already knew it that he searching the next BTS successor. He need a new moneymaker when they get old. People think BTS are so special. He will create another one and then BTS will be forgotten. Just like a factory produce.

If my friend hadn't told me to ignore the title I would not have watched this.

At the beginning of Bang PD's statement , he said that it is not appropriate to talk about Jk only but he went on to talk about Jk only anyway. 😶 He should be careful with his dealings with Scooter Braun, or Jk becomes the next Justin Bieber. I heard that JB wants to get out of Scooter's company. Things there must be bad right now.

This Title is Misleading... Bang PD already admitted even he can't create another BTS. What his doing is basically finding alternative ways to maintain Kpop as a mainstream because he knows without BTS' presence kpop is not mainstream.

Seems like it. I mean we know this from the start that he is being prevliged by the company and SB. He didn't have to face any kind of Sabotage and the label sabotaged every single thing related to Jimin because when Jimin is no.1 on BB, they panicked and just completely ignore anything related to Jimin and I know that they did that to every member at certain levels. But I'm so disappointed that we are proved right. 😓🙄

Bang Si-Hyuk is an intelligent guy who knows how to smell the times and as a good businessman, he bets on the export of K-pop know-how - but not necessarily its content - to the American markets to continue to develop its activity. So it’s not about creating the next BTS - in fact Bang himself has repeatedly stated that there couldn’t be another BTS - but about maintaining HYBE's position as a giant in the music industry. It's true that Bang also said in this interview that no one can guarantee that BTS will have the same level of success when they come back in 2025. This is objectively true : no one can guarantee that. But the shared history and strength of the bonds between BTS and ARMY are so extraordinary, beyond the norm, that anything is possible, and especially the best. Let’s trust them and trust each other !

But Bang PD said it himself. He himself is saying that Scooter has JK back. Until now I only have suspecions and I never said anything about JK because it's just our own theories but I'm sorry after watching this, this interview just makes us right about everything. And even if you don't want to hear all of this, most of the fandom still going to say that favoritism indeed happened. It's just a fact and I know he is successful even if he didn't do these things with SB but right now the reputation SB has is so bad and most popular people like JB and Taylor Swift like Artists already sued him and left him and he is famous to favor his favorite Artists and no matter how hard you try , a lot of people has a problem with that.😓
