I've never seen a cargo vehicle review where the reviewer does exactly what a cargo vehicle driver is supposed to. You gave us a real insight on the life of delivery drivers, while reviewing an automobile, that's a bonus none of us asked for, and I really appreciate that, great job!

@@blardymunggas6884 since pick up trucks/open bed trucks are not allowed in major cities in China. this type of configuration is the go-to vehicle for small business owners. I mean, a scooter can only carry so far.
My Chinese is rusty af but I think they used clever word play by naming it Chengshi. Phonetically, chengshi can mean city. In this instance though, it literally translates to Orange Knight or Gentleman.

I wanna say that too. The editing is very professional. Its entertaining to watch even if the car is not what your interested in. Great video!
I'm waiting here in Bangkok, and I think Thailand may just be the first market in this region where this brand will seek a market, following the likes of MG and GWM. The tiny sois and traffic congestion around here provides the perfect ecosystem for these small electric vans.

Oh shit, 济南 pride! Seriously this thing has some real potentials. This sure looks like a better alternative than hotdog stands that has to be wheeled around via pick-ups.

So basically with this car they can use the storage area as a kitchen carve open the window use it to take orders and deliver the food to people passing by lol am already imagining how it would look like 😂🤣

Great video! This minivan seems like a really well thought-out, utilitarian design with plenty of potential for upgrades. Package compartments, different battery range options, smart-delivery network interface, and future opportunity for autonomous driving and touch-screen package retrieval makes me think that Juzhen know what they're doing and they intend for the Chengshi 01 to stay. Also, funny note that the name of the van (roughly translating to 'to achieve something') is a homophone to the word 'City' in Chinese. Smart naming.
It's incredible, you actually have a Chinese driver's license! Few foreigners can pass the Chinese driver's license test!

A lot of pop-up coffee/bobba vans showed up this year in my city of 威海 Weihai, China this summer, along the beaches, I can see this vehicle being a very good alternative to the current vans they are using. Especially considering that it is an EV, it can be used as a power source for lighting/decor.

they would use a separate battery for that like in actual food trucks. Wouldn't want to drain the charge for driving back!
Looks right-sized for last mile delivery.
This channel rocks, I love seeing all the new BEV's coming out of China these days they're awesome, Thank you.
pure awesomeness, guys! love it.
This guy has been spending plenty of time in the gym. I almost didn't recognise him. Go find his older videos. Great content as always bro👍
Having that extra side door would really help with loading bulky items. What a good looking little truck. Only nit is I wish they'd given it a twist lever parking brake, to allow for a front bench. Would make a good all weather alternative to a cargo trike!
Lol i love this type of car 😘☺️🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾

Ethan you’re absolutely adorable, I look forward to your excellent reviews!! Can’t wait to see what happens next!!?!❤️
Good to have you back!
Benjamin looks like such a cool vehicle! I would buy two and glue them together for double the hauling capacity.

Great video!!! I like what you said in the end. A city packed with this vehicles instead of diesel Citroen Jumper, Peugeot Boxer, VW Crafter, or smaller diesel vans would change a everything (I live in France). You didn't speak about noise, but in the end when you leave, we hear almost nothing. Excellent!!! Also you didn't speak about energy consumption, did you calculate it? With the NEDC range claimed, consumption would be around 10kWh/100km which would be excellent.
I would say if they add aircond, increase the power to 60hp and bigger battery pack. It would be perfect in my country.
Wow! Amazon needs these!!
Sweet little van, gives me that kei car vibe, would make an epic weekend little camper in the US

Awesome little vans
Looks incredible - Wonder if airbag is an option, its the only negative I'd have with it - I wouldn't fancy driving one without
A drop side ute looks funnny with the small wheels wish you still had your Mazda i drive a 1997 hi lux ute drop side aluminum tray
This is a good replacement for a last generation Toyota hiace. The old hiace was so narrow
This honestly would be perfect for Brazil if we had a more developed charging infrastructure. I can really see our state-owned delivery company called Correios going around using a yellow version of this plucky little van!
This looks great, it looks like a modern Suzuki Super Carry.
Mahalo for… um… sweating the details!
Add a driver airbag and ESC, reinforce the safety cage to a somewhat acceptable standard and it would definitely sell for double its Chinese market price in the West.
Maybe I am too custom to gasoline cars. But the silent drive away in the end is soo spooky.
Here in the United States just for bachelor that'd be a nice van to hang out at the lake for the weekend end
Bring it to South Africa. Love the Show...
It's even cooler than a Nissan cube I want one so bad
Thank you for your sweat
wow cool excellent review, how does this compare to a kei truck, i own a 95 mitsu minicab and am very curious about the electric drive train.

I hope this comes to the UK without a stupid mark up in price like the Tesla M3 did. Even if it was £6k rather than USD it would still be a decent work tool for short range deliveries
Hi guys, great GREAT video! As always :D What's the best way to order a unit of this outside of China? I live in Vanuatu (yep) and would be super keen to import one for my business. I've never ordered something like this from China and would be grateful for some contacts of purchasing agents who could help me with that. Thank you and stay AWESOME!!
what kind of charging system is installed for Europe. I don't think CCS. Type 1, Type 2 or Chademo ... or directly with a cable for 220V to the socket directly. Is it true that the batteries are replaceable? look forward to an answer. I have a lot to do with electromobility in Germany ... Greetings KZreadr Mario
It have to become successful on european market, especially considering it's price. Only slight rebranding is required. And airbags most importantly.
A perfect solution for the average person and the retired group. Price is so important!
Very very good review. Keep it up. Honest and very good review.
Hello how are you? Well done for the videos. What is the driving range for this car? ( how many km?)
really want to see an MPV version of this. cars today are just too big.
Importing certain vehicles to the USA will be problematic as the US Highway Code has a number of requirements (and corresponding costs), but I wonder if a step in the process may be to import instead a vehicle to be registered as an Off-Highway Vehicle. There are a number of challenges in the OHV process as well, but it may be viable option in certain other limited circumstances.
If i wanted to buy one ...Where /Which website i have to go for?
Nice reviews
How do I get the orange one
I like the look and I understand the right situation 20 years of truck driving I understand the suspension the small tires let alone the short travel is only equal that's what a motorcycle does would make the suspension like riding on a basketball that they really can't fix unless they made the rear end leaf springs more than twice the length at least going from the part of where it sits on the frame but that have to angle the leaf springs where 2/3 the spring was towards the front and I think just going to an airbag suspension would be as bad as good as you can get but far as in the states fans people like to take out the country so it needs at least have a 200 mile range but the general Outlook like I said bachelor's would love it out of the Lakes it looked like it'd be a fun truck to take fishing if I could go the distance
a minivan with a "sport" mode, what a world to live in
🤔 I'm thinking it maybe good for mini camper.. put on solar panel on top and you will travel anywhere without any gas..

You don't want a lot of acceleration in a cargo van. In the US there's a company assembling a small Wuling electric van for this market (Wuling Motor itself, not their JV with SAIC and GM).
Sound like a useful delivery vehicle.
reminds me of the disney movie Vacation!
This is the best EV I love this design.

Is there Wheelsboy prime?
Don't forget about Arrival, Rivian Prime and BrightDrop. Be frank this is suitable only in China and certain emerging market where safety is not a concern for this kind of vehicle. Also cost is going to be the ultimate consideration, unless this is going to be cheaper to run than electric scooter, most Chinese companies will stick to electric scooter.

Yeah as a former auto structures engineer, I can tell this wouldn't pass the the mandatory safety tests. I'm certain of it from just looking at the body in white. Maybe in China they have different classifications to exempt these city only vehicles from safety standards designed for general vehicles.

For cost I assume the increased load capacity and less trips back to the depot ultimately be the winner. This may not fit for the US market but let's face it, it does fit to developing country's market (like mine in South East Asia) where toll roads are few and between, the roads are small, and the streets are hazardous, as well as the scooters are sometimes forced to carry 3 or more 4 people. I'd consider one for my donut delivery and food truck business for sure.
I suspect this guy is very popular with the Chinese ladies (and some guys too)
suitable for London streets and some European cities
Its great to see fresh bold new designs being made, just a shame that its China thats being so creative and not us in the West. With some additional features this could be made into a cool little mpv city car.
So cute 🥰
So it's electric ? 0-60?
