And also the police did confirm the bodega owner called the police so for everyone saying he didn't is lying. Third the hospital was nearby. Junior was bleeding. The man is a bodega owner he ain't a medical expert. And what choices were given? Let Junior wait for the ambulance while he was ferociously bleeding or let him get to the nearest hospital?? Anyone would rather go to the nearest hospital!! Like women in labor the moms to be don't "wait for the ambulance" they drive to the hospital.

I believe at first the bodega owner was pushing him down but then realized he was trying to hide and also recognized him. I mean if I was behind the counter and saw a person trying to jump over I'd push them too. What I don't understand is why noone tried to lock to door or help take him to the hospital. 911 wasn't working so help take him down the street. I honestly think the employees didnt mean any harm. Think things just happened so fast and probably also where scared too. I don't believe the new story told by these gang members. Why would Junior be running from them for no reason? From what I see in the video, the owners initial reaction is to stop JR from going over the counter which is a normal initial reaction. But then he lets junior hide behind the counter after JR seemingly explains what's happening . Unfortunately Jr pokes his head out a little bit just as one of the gangsters come in. At that point , what the f is the owner supposed to do. He cannot prevent the stabbing from happening. And yes it does some really stupid to tell JR to run to the hospital after he had just been stabbed. However the owner doesn't know what's going on outside or if the gang members are waiting for JR . Had he taken Jr to the hospital he could've thought that he was putting himself at risk too. The best thing the owner could have done (IN HINDSIGHT) was putting pressure on the throat wound and waiting for the ambulance to come. However, in situations like these, you can blank easily. Everyone criticizing the owner is criticizing from the comforts and safety of their home , watching from the outside. I GUARANTEE a lot of you blaming the owner or saying "I would've done this" wouldn't have done shit. Stop putting blame on the owner

the real story was that they had mistaken him for someone who had filmed that girl. (my cousin goes to his school,so this has been confirmed.)

Junior will never get to join the military, will never have the opportunity to move out of the country or have children. He will never be gainfully employed as he is gone for life, while they sit there planning how to better themselves after this is over. It never should have happened. When you grin you’re in, and all should be charged with the same....

The reason the story changed is because any competent defense attorney would tell them to do so. It makes it harder to for the DA to come with a Pre-Meditated or 1st degree charge. Plus it gets the girl off the hook just incase they try to charge her later and use her testimony against the brother and his crew

Things we need to know is. 1. who or where is Jason (the friend he owed) and 2. Where is this look-a-like?

He’s lying if he said he thought they were on their way to a party when footage before the attack taken by someone above the store on cell phone shows multiple men pacing back and forth WAITING for junior to come to that store. Right! She said he asked to borrow $5 to give to his friend who wanted to get something to eat. Version #2 was he asked to borrow $5 after the girl from the video called him. She said she needed it to catch the train and to meet her at the bodega . Version #3 was he went to payback for a deli sandwich that he he still owed for ( which is most unlikely he would do that in the middle of the night). All of these stories were to explained how he was lured outside in the first place.

First of Canada does not want Kevin Alvarez he’s fine where he is in a prison cell. Regardless if he turned him self or not , knew about the killing or not I’m sure he knew what type of guys he was hanging around. Other pictures shows he’s lying and he’s pretending he’s innocent. Only innocent person was junior. Secondly the store owner is just as guilty, Because when Junior was getting dragged out of the shop he did not try and stop it he literally stood there and walked behind Junior. The moments Junior ran into the shop trying to hide one of the staff members could’ve locked the door. They all could’ve taken cover and hid until the cops came.

I've watched at least 5 videos of this incident and read a few articles on it as well. What's amazing is that there's constant blame and repudiation addressed towards the bodega owners, the police, and the hospital, but very little aimed at the gang itself. It's shameful.

I find it very weird that the community is more upset at Bodega owner than the police officers. I've seen the men, the Bodega owner, the other guy who they thought JR to be, and the girl everywhere in the news, but no clear picture of the officers. 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Doesn't matter what's the story. Point is, he was killed whether rival, mistaken identity, on purpose or accident. Shouldn't make a difference on what's the reason. Darling, Junior was a kid! Beginning his teen life obsessing over playstation and girls. Imagine how confused he was when these stronger and older people who knew him in the store wouldn’t help him, while the whole gang was pulling him out and chopping him with machete and stabbing with knifes.
