If I understood correctly they are a married couple. Bruce (bats) was pushing her away, for a reason I still don’t fully understand. Basically, Wayne has already “clapped” her cheeks before. Don’t take my word for it though.

​@@JordanDeMexicanThe reason is simple. Batman is a deeply broken man that has more than one issue. His trauma and unwillingness to love himself like he loves other, prohibits romantic relationships. And his line of work, being a superhero doesn't have much time or need for romantic interest. He fears that if he loves someone, villains will target her and use it against him. And he is right.

I think I like this comic the most of batman because in this he actually got together with harley which I always found as an interesting concept.

Yeah they usually play with Bruce finding someone superpowered enough or whatever to not be in danger, but its interesting to take a character who was ALSO arguably crazy and moved past it to get better. Who better to know the fucked up world Bruce rolls in? Plus the idea of him getting with a psychiatrist to boot...

This felt like Batman Arkham Beyond.

Good story but I was a little confused as to which one was Barbara Gordon and which one was Harley Quinn towards the end. The bat-family still look super young whereas Batman got older, and you can tell Barbara Gordon got a little bit order as well. But Jason Todd and Dick Grayson still look like they are in their twenties or early thirties. I was a little confused as to the continuity of this thing, must be a parallel universe or something? A young Superman just being discovered threw me way off.

its set in a alt universe from the main continuity Murphyverse as it has been referred or you can call it the white knight universe and the beyond story line takes place about 12 years in the future from the og story line

What an interesting timeline. I sure do love Bat-Family drama, and being involved with Harley and Joker on friendly terms makes the whole "Beyond" era seem more hopeful.

I could also see a scene where Hologram Jack Napier gets a more physical form. Like say a robotic suit with ballistic gel molded around it, with projectors on it showing his appearance over it. With a possibly sweet ending, where he gets a human body again... Though he and bruce could just switch places at any point for that.

Coming from someone that only watched the cartoon as a teenager, I don’t know what retconned universe is this. In this universe, Bruce never broke up the relationship between Dick and Barbara, Terry isn’t Bruce’s science project son, and Bruce, Joker and Harley had a close relationship.

This is the only alternate batman storyline which I like better than the original now

Fun fact, when joker was in control of Bruce talking with Harley the shadow was of Batman, not jack. So Jack was saying everything Bruce was to scared to say by himself. We know this again because the shadows, they are a reflection of the character’s true self, one unchanged by the mask they choose to wear.

I always wondered who fathered Harley Quinn's twins from Batman beyond the animated series. Now I know. Everyone else I knew back then said it had to be the Joker. However, the timeline never lined up. The Joker implanted nanobots into Tim Drake and then got killed. It took decades for those nanobots to fully take control and implant the Joker's personality into him. So it wasn't the Joker. Of course, knowing all of this now, there is an ik factor in one of the episodes. There is one episode where McGuinness the new Batman gets captured by the joker's gang. And the twins are coming on to him. No one in that scene knows that they're half-siblings.

I really like that Batman has ALL of the different versions of the Batmobile, and that he used the two best ones in this comic. The 1989 Michael Keaton Batmobile, and the 2008 Christian Bale Tumbler Batmobile.

Sean Murphy, he's both the writer and the illustrator of the White Knight series (Murphyverse). His style is indeed pretty cool.

If the new batsuit has this autopilot, why does it have a person at all? Why not just have batsuit drones?

BB followed BTAS clean storytelling and allowed Terry to explore Batman's universe alone with Bruce as supporting character,. Terry could be introduced to 1 former villain or ally at a time, while doing his own* stuff with school and completely new* villains. Trying to cram all the batfamily in at once and have black robin**, black girl robin, badboy gun robin, OG robin and Babs running around quipping pulled the story away from Terry before they shoved Joker and Milf Harley in. This was interesting but an incoherent mess. Well narrated and animated though! *Spidermans **Speedy
