@@mperformance3502 No way. You could find a decent condition, stock-ish E30 M3 for 30-40k back then. More in good condition, but not much more. $60k tops unless it was low mileage. Now, people are trying to pass off swapped, salvage titled E30 M3s for $50k... and they’re actually selling. A 200k mile M3 with a 100k mi S54 swap went for $41k last year and people were saying it was a good deal. Absolute insanity.

Absolute DREAM CAR

2.3 liter! For italian market because of tax reasons a 2 liter. Both start at 195hp. Later on it became 215hp and for the evo 238hp out of 2.5 liter.

I miss that boxy rally look with the classy circle headlights.

0:30 2.0L 4 cyl engine? No. It had a 2.3L and in Sport Evo a 2.5L S14 engine. There was a 2.0L S14 for the Italian market only - the 320iS with 192 hp. About 1500 produced.

E30 M3 i didnt knew it had a 2 ltr . Not in europe for shore . 2.3 ltr , 2.5 ltr evo's

Nice build, not my cup of tea but still a very solid build. Much props deserved.

Nice Rebuild, with a mint Color Concept. Only the Rims are looking way too modern, concave and wide so that the Tires are way too stretched, especially the front one. The Hartge at the beginning of the Video are my favorite ones... The Shift Knob and Handbrake are, for my taste, too varicolored. But hey, the owner has to like it first...😉 Greetings from Germany.

Always had my eye in this car. Such a clean build. Btw, I don't think I've ever seen an m3, modified or not that didn't retain the original back seat if the owner chose to keep a back seat in it. Confused by the wheels as well, not the greatest design to show off the brakes if that was the goal.

No, details are baddly wrong. It had a 2.3 litre straight 4. It was made for group A regulations in 1987. They required 500 units to be homologated. That is all. Not 5000. There was supposed to be a base unti of 5000 but many margues producted less, ie 2000 like maserati. The car quickly (1990) got a 2.5 litre. the bodywork of the grey car is 1991 and that was a 2.5 litre. In racing they started with 285 brake hp, and finished group A with 330 bhp, and the DTM with 380 brake bhp.

I don't get it ,if you're going to modify it to death then why leave the 4 cylinder in there? Alpina built the ultimate M3 with the B6 3.5S , it had a simple straight 6 3.5 tuned and with a manual gearbox. Best e30 made.

Bit too extra with the wheels poking out and wild upholstery. Takes away from the already beautiful body lines of this car. Respect for the craftsmanship...but less is more.

I had to pause at that point too. I thought, "Now someone didn't do their homework." ... Additionally there a ton of boi racers in the comments stating that he's dumb for not swapping the motor. Some just wouldn't recognize greatness if it took a shit on their chest.

Really tacky. The wheels, the entire interior, the pinstripe, the gold... just my opinion.

thumbs down the guys mumbles a lot, did he replace the engine? did he swap it?, did he rebuild it? he rambles on through all scenarios for minutes and mumbles for one second as to what he ended up doing. Sorry bad quality host presentation school.
