  I've had my '09 convertible 5 years, it's been good. Bought it w/85k, has 110k now. Super daily drivable, bad gas milage, super fun.

  Is it me or does every aftermarket exhaust sound like shit including this one. I don’t think they will ever fabricate an exhaust that will make the S55 sound good. It does not fix the sound

  too bad there's no stick shift. gonna hang on to my c7 and maybe pick up a manual zo6. with a manual u feel like a part of the car and not just a passenger. hard to play on ur phone having to shift thru the gears. some would say the paddle shifts make it happen but i have used those in another car and it feels like ur playing a video game, need for speed?

  Great video. Sound definitely improved, but for me, I'm ok with the stock exhaust on mine.. other than the cow udder which is just inexcusable. But I won't pay just to get rid of that so I'll stay stock. Maybe I'll get ambitious and paint it black eventually, that helps a lot.

  I have "red devil" 330i E46 M-sport touring wagon and i absolutly lov IT. Even it no are "M3" but next best thing and best model after M3. And i also like how E46 touring sport wagon looks like. And spacy interior. This car has my heart. ♥️♥️♥️

  It also has to be equal length after the midpipe. The left side before the tip is much longer the right side. Obviously it is not your fault. The manufacturer had no idea what equal length means. You have no idea how much it affects sound. I also made me same mistake. It has to completely equal length. A correctly made equal length setup can for example make a GM truck like a Corvette.

  Does sound great - but just deleting the burbles it cures 99% of the problem LOL Are you using test downpipes? Or stock downpipes? From what I have gathered running test downpipes and aftermarket muffler its just too loud so still rocking my "Cow Udders" and I hate it.

  You can take the burbles out with the stock exhaust and BimmerLink 👌🏼. I would be worried about cat less down pipes being too raspy on the s55. Could be worth a try to run a single midpipe or equal length mid pipes, with catless dp and the stock axle back, but couldn’t tell you if it sounds good or not.

  Not saying a single turbo doesn’t sound amazing. But the benefit of twins on the powerband is pretty drastic. Single turbo m2’s are awesome though. Financially would probably make more sense to go with an OG M2 or a car with a b58 if you wanted single turbo. 🤙🏻
