R & B CLASSIC ‼️Ron Isley and those unmistakable VOCALS. The harmonies flow so tight and smooth. That silky music just caresses you. Makes you jam and chill at the same time.

***ISLEY BROTHERS TRIVIA TIME!!!*** ...are you living for it!? ...are YOU?.... - This was the 2nd single from the VERY well selling 1975 Album, "The Heat Is On"....NOT the Album cover featured in the Empress thumbnail, 1976's "Harvest For The World"...THAT Album features the tune, "At Your Best (You Are Love), that Aaliyah covered in 1994.... - ....a LOT of People don't know this, but Whitney Houston was going to release HER cover of it as the 1st single from her "Whitney" Album, until she got "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", at the last minute....THEN, her label slated it as the 2nd single, until they changed their minds AGAIN, and went with "Didn't We Almost Have It All"...is was SO close, that they had to put STICKERS over the title of "FTLOY", because the artwork was already PRINTED (for the 12" versions) !! ...her version got her a Best R&B Female Grammy nod.... - The Isley's were on their 4th multi-platinum Album (then); they were known for mighty Funk tunes, then switched it up with sexy Ballads...they have the MOST classic "quiet storm" jams than ANY 70's R&B group, outside of Earth Wind & Fire.... Their Albums had One side of Funk jams, the 2nd side, for Sexy slowjams.... - ...as we ALL know, Ron Isley started to work with R. Kelly, and created the character "Mr. Biggs", a gangster-type, helped Ronald garner popularity with the hip-hop community, and help the Isley Brothers STILL have huge hits throughout the 90's..... - This tune only hit #22 on the R&B charts Fall of 1975, but is a MASSIVE 'Quiet Storm" classic.....
