sree kumar Congress have ruled for 70 yrs n have excellent experience n very practical, not taken risk at the public cost. so far analysis about present govt. policy is correct. not showing any false dream to the public .

This interviewer looks too naive for Mr. Chidambaram. He makes Arun Jaitley look so small in matters of economy. Loved the example of Farmer, Lawyer and restaurant.

Very well explained .. Do agree that Rs. 100 and Rs. 50 notes should have been printed in advance and not the Rs. 2000... Hope slow and steady growth in digital currency (say transactions above Rs. 20000) will minimize scope for black money. Higher denominations notes are not required by the common man who spends Rs. 100-300 daily (And they say poor are living on Rs. 40 a day :::::)))))) .. Ohhhhhh!!!! Please withdraw Rs. 2000 note also....... Anyway a decision making PM is much better. Lets hope we all sustain, in fact succeed with a little more patience. No need for political panicking .... Madam, etNOW , PM's bold decision of demonetisation made many BALD ( takla) overnight.

Loved the talk. But this lady seems to be getting ahead of herself all the time. Intervenes when he is concluding important points and is not waiting for him to complete. Although the questions were spot on, the lady needs to do some serious self analysis!

Good explanation by P Chidambaram but this lady anchor is mixing nonsense words and misleading. Common man does not understand how indian economy works. Just by winning the elections does not mean voters have approved govt.'s disaster decisions. I suggest anchor Supriya Shrinate to do good journalism and ask questions independently but not in biased manner.

I lived in India and now live in US. I have seen common man affected by corruption in India where as I have not seen it in US. So what is it that black money in US he is talking about. We can go to a police station and complain or call 911 here in US where as we don't get justice if we approach a policeman in India. This is the result of this Guy's government for 6o odd years. But implementation of anything by Govt. is poor in India.

Shadow economy was not only 22% , it was much more than that.

This anchor needs a course in showing respect to the learned and atleast to Mr. Chidambaram. She is the major disturbing factor in this interview, more than the BJP intact.

1600 billion dollar for an economy os US (whose size is 17 trillion) compared to 500 billion for India ( whose size is 2 trillion) that mean .8% black money in USA vs 25% in Indian economy.

This means tax system is totally flawed. If you are honest you will be over charged with taxes. Some others ( farmers, political parties, religious organizations ) are not charged! Toll tax on some inner roads is out of control. This tax system encourage people to trade in cash and save big bundle. Reduce taxes where they are over charged and make is very simple. All black money will become white!

Mr.P Chidambaram former Finance minister and the so called best Finance minister of India complaining about #demonetisation and it will not serve the objectives of controlling corruption, black money and removing counterfeit currency in India. "He said this exercise was not done by any Government in the past 50 years, the way it was implemented was miserable and 15 Crore labourers are suffering, cashless economy is unavoidable and it cant be achieved overnight and Government is Kite flying about the money which is not coming to the bank system and RBI can consider it has as Income. #modi is wrapping everything in the name of Nationalism and trying to dress up everything with Nationalism and trying to hide the failures by the BJP Government to fulfil their promises and trying to win the upcoming assembly elections by this demonetisation exercise." Great sir you are very calm, composed, very careful in choosing words and tackling the interviewer with proper response and correcting her, asking her to use proper words, good Sir, all these shows your preparation, planning, how you came prepared for the interview. But few questions from a layman, lets assume whatever you are telling is true and you are really worrying about the 15 crore labourers. Why you are with such a corrupt party which made Dr.Manmohan Singh as a puppet backed by a foreign lady? Why you are supporting a guy who is considered as an "idiot of the century" for Prime ministerial candidate? Please answer these two questions, How can we believe you Sir? I still remember your campaign for DMK, you made at Bhavani, Erode district in 2006, You are the one who said #Karunanidhi is contesting his last election, and this is his last election, and you know he is the Chief minister candidate for the last election held in May 2015 as well. We can believe whatever you are advocating if you can come up with proper answers to the questions. People have lost trust in you. #Chidambaram you can either try to answer the questions or with your arrogance and royal background you can easily say i don't want to answer every dog :-)

He may be a genius, that i don't know, also there is no yardstick for measuring genius, i consider these statements, highly assuming, judgemental and biased, also a ministry can't run by a single genius, there has to be a team, whatever genius one may be, one has human limitations and in-order to overcome those limitations each ministry has a panel consists of IAS officers, economists and other experts to come up with budget, policies, amendments and so on. India doesn't need genius, the need of the hour is leaders who are trust worthy, reliable, patriotic, who can walk their talk. We want such leaders who can think selflessly, put India first, put Nation first irrespective of their political future and must have the guts to implement the policy recommendations provided by the ministry or by the panel which can benefit the nation in the long run. Without that, having genius is of no use to the country, one's genius may be used to get fame, political advancements, and accumulation of wealth but those geniuses are good for nothing for common man and for downtrodden. Its is better to have a stupid minister who is trust worthy and patriotic to a genius minister who is selfish, political and non patriotic.

Why there is a tendency of English anchors everywhere seems to be in hurry always, looks very odd,very crazy. The way PC trying to teach is quite praiseworthy, in other hand, anchor look always unstable.
