There was a show on star one called Great Indian Comedy show which had a superhero named “Chhuttaman”. He used to carry chhuta (coins) with him. Also, Kiku Sharma played Bhojpuri Superman. It was hilarious.

The reason behind people got crazy for black panther was also the context behind the film. It was a massive movie with a huge African American and African star cast at the forefront. It was a new step forward for America pop culturally.

I have watched lots of anime and the reason behind it is cause there villians and even the support character have much more backstory with lots of emotions. As discussed by Neville sir that adds upto the story. The rooting for the protagonist increases each moment.

1:06 guys there was a whole tv series based on Indian superheroes named 7 which was based on saptarishi reincarnated as humans with special ability... it was aired on Sony Channel around 2008-2009 when they had some kind of tie up with yrf and this serial along with some others were produced by yrf

If you observe the airport scene in Civil War, there is a vehicle similar to Bluth family’s stair car from Arrested Development as a homage to the show.

I relate with bawa so much. Superheroes arent nearly as good as manga/webtoons imo. Also morality is better explored through books or metaphorical movies. Like a trojan message which you can realise later (like Haider). Not to mention i think a large part of toxic masculinity is contributed to by wrong potrayal of the idea of a 'superhero'.

Varun, Kautuk and Aadar - u guys are superheroes for valiantly trying for an hour to explain the metaphysical, transcendental, and existential story (not) behind the Snyder cut to Bawa-man. I aged from my 50s to my 60s by the time he got it. 😊Btw, All Gujjus should be called "Olkhaan man" with "Aapdi olkhaan che" as their super power for getting all things done.

Not a big superhero fan, have only watched the Batman Trilogy, Justice League (2017 + animated), Man of Steel, Batman v/s Superman, Wonder Woman and Spiderman Homecoming in the last 4-5 years. But still watched the whole episode because #TISS is love! And like I had mentioned a couple of weeks back that watching the episode on the same night is a ritual! Love all you guys! You'll do an amazing job! Also, is there still scope to join in the new TISS project? I really want to be a part of it!
