*"Satirize and attack the already (relatively) reformed 'low-hanging-fruit' of a faith, and not talk about reforming the other side in our films/art, because we want our neck in its place. If they seek true equality, call them haters. We can clearly see that these people demanding boycotts have 'a particular ideology'. We hope nobody notices our own duplicitous nature. @@YOTUBE8848 Okay. You wanna see satire on muslim religion then you can follow Munawar. I'll tell you something about social psychology. So Javed Akhtar recently pointed fingers at his own religion and asked pertinent questions as to their double standards on matters of Muslim women and ISIS etc. He as a Muslim has the right to question his faith, correct ? Will it be correct if he points fingers at our faith ? No, right ? Why ? Because he doesn't belong to the faith so he has no first hand experience, he can have opinions but better not mouth those options. Correct ? Similarly as a Hindu, it's but obvious that they are at a position to do satire on Hinduism, but since they don't belong to Islam they can't do satire on that religion, but they can have their opinions which they better not mouth, just like Javed Akhtar saying something against our religion will be wrong. Got it ? Have you ever seen any aunty ever publicly criticise padosi ka ladka ? Aunties alway criticise their own kids in bhari public in front of each other even when they know that dusre ka beta bhi kuch kam harami nai hai, but she's a neighbour and not a family member to comment on the padosi ka harami baccha. It's out of courtesy that people from one religion don't comment on the other. Except in case of fundamentalists on both side of the religion. You will never find any hindu comic mocking the veds puranas Upanishads Gita, our shastras because they are the Essence of our religion. They are the philosophical and spiritual tenet of our religion. The social tenet of our religion is what they target because it is flawed, it is made by humans, that when to eat, when to bathe, when to go to mandir kitchen, which profession to take up, etc. These are social aspects of a religion. Thank God you were not born during the times of Raja Ram Mohan Roy otherwise you would have opposed social reforms and would have fought in favour of sati, child marriage and what not. 😛 They were the social aspects of our religion. If you're a general category person, 10 gens of your family has men who were well employed or educated in the capacity of their generation and times, but I'm 100% sure your dad's dadi or Nani never did a PhD or worked for a living. Even though they belonged to the most advanced section of the society. Why ? Because our religion is flawed ? NO, it's because the social rules and mindset was flawed. Please understand which aspect of a religion is targeted when satire is attempted. I'll ask you another question later.
Bawa's reaction all throughout 'Liger' explanation scene was apt!

Exactly I dont get the point of having a podcast and giving such strong opinions about a film and film critics WITHOUT actually watching it. Least he could have done is listen to Kautuk. Even there he kept interrupting.
Make it a 10 part series and call it "How I met my astra"
The dialogue I cringed the most at was "Mai tumse darti nahi." Alia delivered it like she was the lead in class 6 school play.

But that’s just us urbans thinking we are the mass! We aren’t. The actual mass just doesn’t have extra cash to spend on movies especially in a post pandemic economy and the habit of Telegram wherever applicable. And not to forget the mass won’t watch it unless it has stupidity (not necessarily in a bad way), suspense(even if it is cheap), SEX or some idol they worship.
This episode is directed by Christopher Nolan😛 One of the best Post credit scenes ever...or was that a cold open??!😆

of course. Also if people have watched BR Chopra's Mahabharat and Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan, then the writers could have gone with a bit of refined Hindi and philosophical terms. I say this also because till today, the millenial generation which was brought up during Doordarshan era would subscribe to such content.
Also I appreciate Ayan Mukherji and team to attend something unique which we only finds from DC marvels and team … Credit to the team for atleast creating something unique and hoping part 2 will be more of Story & good dialogues plus VFX…

Content is king now a days … as people during lockdown watched soo much content on OTT that their expectations has raised . People is not going to watch now any shit … plus these boycott gangs will not work if their is definitely good content to watch
the fact dt the movie will intrigue u fr the part 2 is were the movie wins n varuns expectations of alia hving a meaty role n ran-alia chemistry being amazing is where it loses...overall definitely a good watch...such movies shud b given a fair chance🙌
So I was in a parlor getting my haircut and j cracked up so hard on that part around Salman being the Brahmastra, 😂 it’s not even funny.! I have people looking at me thinking I’ve gone mad 😅
46:36 Varun's Sean Connery impression sounds more like Ajay Devgn.
I loved Brahmastra 🤩🤩 IMAX 3D experience was out of the world..
I will highly recommend one watch Minal Murali for a Indian superhero movie....
Also, there was no sense of danger in the film. They went to save nagarjuna who will most likely die and they are just sightseeing during the whole day. Even Ranbir's training montage was very jolly, I mean he was training to save the world. I liked the movie overall still because I liked the overall experience.
@apoorvsingh4459

No I disagree, I felt the sense of danger whenever junoon and her goons came on the screen, and specially in that whole pre-interval car chase scene where there car was going out of control because of Shiva and Ali Shetty was facing junoon. That was the most tense scene and it's pay off at the end was just too good
*Bawa while liger explanation* : 🗿🗿🗿
I genuinely thought that after "on that note... " VT's gonna start saying "Hello and welcome... " and start the intro and I was disappointed that it didn't happen and then at the last part ... You killed it VT.
