    listened this on Spotify but came here just to comment that I AM WITH NEVILLE Regarding Vivid, i always thought I was the only one. Always thought Vivid as hazy, especially the way it's used in a sentence, like mostly it's used as "i have a vivid memory of..."

    Vivid : Bawa is right .. I always thought Vivid was what Bawa was trying to say. SO never I have set Vivid in TV or mobile. After finding out also I feel vivid is still not sharp but hazy

    I have also felt the same about Vivid. Infact i have misused the word for hazy several times. It just felt like that ...the sound of it. I assumed through usage. Now i know but still i feel it doesn't sound right

    when you feel like that about any sound or word, just repeat it several times very fast and you will get to the crux of why you feel that. e.g. for me also I had problems understanding vivid and conspicuous as their true meaning. For vivid I know that on repeating fast it sounds like a buzzing bee like vividvividvivivdvivid. now as you can see this looks very confusing, and hence sounds also confusing- like something unclear. There you go!

    Bawa is absolutely right, since there's a very similar word in Marathi called "Vividha" which means various/different which is completely different from the meaning of word a "Vivid" which means clear/sharp/striking/arresting.

    Just finished watching this. @Neville- if it makes you feel any better, until the age of 14 I used the word ‘vivid’ exactly as you described- the opposite of it’s meaning, hazy. It’s heartbreaking how I found out. Another one for me was ‘pessimistic.’ I know, it’s depressing but I used it as if it meant an ‘extremely positive person.’ It haunts me.

    "Inflammable" is the word that confuses my brain every time. It means the total opposite of what it looks like it should mean. Also "inhabitable". Why the unnecessary "in-" prefix!

    Last night Bawa came in my dreams- " i was sitting on some bench and suddenly Bawa came and started shouting and dancing 🕺... I was 80% confused ,10% shocked, 5% baffled because the bench disappeared out of nowhere and 5% turned on " So today I woke up with very mixed feelings and now I am watching the podcast and that mixed feelings continues... Will update incase I get some follow up dreams (if my dreams about Bawa is anything like his KZread update schedule then expect an update after a year 😄)

    note: not a Bawa Simp. I had a lot of effing difficulties in remembering vivid as clear because of one particular thing. there is one Hindi word is similar to it called _vividh_ which means various/several, which is kind of creating ambiguity and ambiguity means haziness so I had to constantly keep reminding myself that it is the opposite of what it feels to me. Also I simply mugged it up that vivid = clear
