Literally my neighbor, he has a husky that is big, but extremely friendly and lovely, and he puts like 5 warning signs about dangerous dog around his fence and then you'd see the dog just chasing his own tail or something. And yes, the signs are on purpose, he knows his dog is no danger at all

The "treadmill" is actually meant for dogs with lots of energy that need mora than a daily walk, the idea is you still walk your dog but they can use the tradmill to release energy when you can't go walk them or play with them outside. At least that's what I've been told about it.

I have a 10 month old nephew. Often, I look at him, then I look at my parents’ dog, and I can just see the same gears turning in both their heads. Both want supervised walks, balls to play with, food to inhale all at once (nephew tried to shove half a banana down his throat without chewing), things to break, weird shit to put in their mouths and try to eat, and they both know to look cute and beg for more food even when they don’t need it. 5:43 "I'd say there's about 70 million of them out there. They could literally take over Ireland." This statement compelled me to do some brief research on the subject. Apparently, there's about 10 million geese in the United States alone. (I tried to get a global estimate, or at least an estimate for the amount of geese in Ireland, but to no avail. Evidently, only the United States counts their geese.) The population of Ireland is about 5 million. So, give or take a few thousand, every Irish citizen would have to fight roughly 2 geese. If the geese flew over the Atlantic Ocean and were determined/angry enough, they probably could take over Ireland. *~Now you know!~*

Seàn! Your cat may not like the vacuum because he wasn’t exposed with it when he was young. One of the best ways to condition a pet, such as a dog or cat, is to use the vacuum near them while they’re still little. You can turn it on around them and even hose them a bit over time, that way they grow knowing it won’t hurt them ☺️

I got all my dogs when they were already adults, we rescued them so they have lots of trauma. Vaccums are a big no no. One is even scared of trash bags (like the sound when you open them especially but she immediately evacuates whenever she sees one) so it really sucks. They can trust you completely but fear is stronger unfortunately. So yes, if you can, expose your pets to many different everyday life objects when they're smol still and they'll have a nice, fearless life. :3

This did brighten my day, I just lost my tortoise to an infection this morning. But this made me smile, thank you Jack.

I'm sorry for your loss. I had three box turtles as a child. They were the best. Eventually, all three of them went into irreversible hibernation and that's how I lost them. It was very hard because I saw the mother lay the eggs in our backyard so I knew them from the very beginning. I'm glad you could provide a good life for your little guy or girl.

*Humans are animals too, basic biology. And the only animals being dumb and heartless and mindless are a lot of humans. Nonhuman animals aren’t dumb, people just don’t take the time to understand and know them so they can feel superior like “hah I’m smort and their dumb” (it’s they’re not their but that’s my point)*

my best friend’s step mom owns a farm and she has two turkeys. We used to be terrified to leave our shoes outside on the grass because the turkey would mount our shoes. The worst part is we’d find turkey jizz on the shoes later😭
