Door kickers? They're not Federal SRT's, troopers or intac. They're swat, they deal with barricaded subjects and backup state police on high risk warrants. They have an insanely high equipment budget that takes away from their operations budget which is why they're rarely dispatched. Even less so now that LA has relaxed their stance on crime and repeat offenders.

Yeah appreciate them and their sometimes careless tactics but they aren’t on the same level as Ranger Regiment and especially not Green Berets, Delta or the SEALs

My god, this podcast never fails to make me think and feel inspired. One thing I noticed is that you guys learned from the Eddie Chan episode. These guests have been loud and comprehensible. Good work, you two!

They get machine pistol training also. Handling 2 machine pistols with matching paint jobs in a wind storm on a Thursday while visiting the circus is probably the toughest.

Thanks for your continued service, Rich. You are a great example to the tactical community. But dang, 32-years?!?! Get out while you are still relatively healthy and enjoy retirement. Then again, that is a great assignment to play and get those desired adrenaline rushes. Orange County, CA definitely has the comms issues solved with their mutual aid frequencies.

Wrong. They were awake for almost 36 hours. The whole SEB was. It was a safety issue. After so much time no sleep, it isn't safe to take a shot or react if you need to
