I have just started using this cleanser and really like it on my 63 year old dehydrated skin. I really like the moisturising boost which remains after rinsing it off but if. Don’t want this I just use a flannel to wipe the remainder off. Thank you for your reviews.

Mai Lopez-Fraser I use Cerave hydrating sunscreen. It is very hydrating and a little on the orange side for me since I have very light skin tone. But I love how my skin loves it and no break outs from it. So I make it work and it is very affordable. But if you have oily skin, this might be too dewy for you. So I suggest Elta MD UV Element. This one is water resistant and a little on the dryer side but still very moisturizing. And suits my skin tone perfectly. I love them both and use them everyday. Which is key for anti aging and prevent hyperpigmentation from my acne. And they are both physical sunscreen which is key for my sensitive and acne prone skin type! Hope this help.

I actually use this as a deep cleaning mask, 2x a week. Just apply and gently glide fingers over the skin, for 15 min. Then add a bit of water, to emulsify and then rinse. Finally, I use a gentle gel cleanser. (I have more oily skin.) For daily sunscreen and makeup removal, I prefer Slaai by Drunk Elephant or Take The Day Off Balm by Clinique.

Doctor Anne if you think the balm by Clinique is lush... the one by DE is next level. It also comes with a magnetized spatula that attaches to the lid, so you don’t lose it. I swap between the Clinique and DE balms.... depending on sales and “limited edition” deals. (A local department store recently had a BOGO50%off on the Clinique balm.... and early this year Sephora offered the full size DE balm in a limited edition set with a travel size, at a discount.)

I started using it a few days ago and I did it all wrong because I used it on a wet face and it left a very heavy film and I was so distraught. But then the next day I used it on dry skin and it was amazing!!! It emulsified in no time when I washed my face. I'm in love with this balm and it's so much at such a low price point. LOVE IT SO MUCH. I just wish the inkey list people had written proper instructions on the bottle that's my only complain with this balm.

Jiazi Liu Most dermatologists will tell you that eye creams are just overhyped and overpriced moisturizers in tiny bottles, tunes or jars. You can use any good facial moisturizer and get the same effect. If you’re suffering from bags, you may want to use a cooling eye mask, instead of expensive eye creams.

  • @DoctorAnne

Benzyl alcohol is usually used as preservative, you need pretty high concentrations for it to give a fragrant note. When used in low concentrations it is not considered as irritating. But yes, it could have been avoided.

@@DoctorAnne yes I understand its also a preservative, I guess it's part of one of the other ingredients.
