This young woman was an inspiration to a 57-year-old man suffering with multiple sclerosis, paralysis and a whole lot of pain. I’m losing my eyesight now. Point is, I’m that person that’s not doing too well as far as looking at the positive side of things. This proud, determined lady helped me have a bearable night. I don’t know how I found this video, it just came up. Thank you for helping me tonight young lady.

When I come across Arabs in public whom I've never met, they start acting arrogant and will say prayers in their religion. Personally, I try to avoid diverse areas in Canada where there are lots of Arabs and East Indians including the nasty Ethiopians, because of these sort of things. And also they make offensive behavior towards me.

I've not even heard of this thing before watching this video. It's not the most vilest and most cowardice thing someone can do but it's certainly high on the list.

My first thought was that I can’t bear to watch this today. Then I realized that if this young woman can recount such an unspeakable trauma, then I can honor her by hearing it. She is exactly the kind of person we need in medicine. May Nafiah and her GenZ peers push to fix what is broken. Edit: After reading comments I realized my last sentence was vague. I was referring to her going into medicine and should’ve said may she & her GenZ peers (age of current med students) fix what is broken in healthcare systems-not violent crime. That’s on all of us. For those who think it weird that a doctor wouldn’t be affected by this story, all I’ll say is I have daughters this age and…I’m human.

Failed society; the Law has failed to protect the innocent while letting criminals have access to acid and get away with doing horrific sht like this.

This is definitely someone that knows her. He waited for her to come home. He didn't attack her mom but her. Always follow your intuition. Never get out if someone is waiting or standing near you. Never turn your back on anyone. The detectives need to find this guy ASAP.

The odds if it being someone she knows is higher than it being someone she doesn’t know. Even though random acid attacks are real and she could have been standing in the wrong place at the wrong time. It could have been someone she knows but also random at the same time if it is chance encounter with a customer at the pharmacy she worked at and they could have hated her and her beauty so much for their own psychotic delusions.

My daughter started kindergarten this year she's had three physical incidents with students. Two of those incidents were with girls she called her "friends" in her kindergarten class i had to pick my beautiful 5 yr old daughter up early from school with a really large knott on her head and a bloody mouth because my daughter was punched in her teeth in the classroom on Thursday morning. Mind you, her teacher never reported the girls and my daughters injuries to her supervisor I withdrawn my child from that school, I went back to the school campus called the police and we now have a police report for both incidents. I have a strong belief that the parents of those girls that do physical harm to others need to be put under the jail for the rest of their life for raising bullies.

Man....sometimes the school system can surely be the worst place to handle social dynamics in which a vulnerable youngster is the one at the receiving end of mistreatment. I'd suggest at this point in time you must teach your daughter social skills and how to advocate for herself and not let her peers disrespect/dehumanize/exploit/mistreat her. Trust me kids are nasty to other kids they perceive vulnerable in any sort of way. Start little by little. And never stop! Always help your little girl navigate the world around her...or show her videos regarding such topic.! This is the age she needs outmost support.!

When I was 19, I had a boyfriend ten years older than me. He's the guy I lost my virginity to and I really loved him. He was very toxic but I failed to see that then. We argued a lot and once while we were in his car, he pulled out a flask and said that's acid and he's gonna pour that in my face. Worst thing is, I was fine with it because I felt like it's my fault and I deserve it so I just covered my eyes and told him to do it. He was procrastinating and I started to feel the fear of death take over me. Then he splashed it in my face, I took my hands off my eyes and just numbly blinked, waiting for my face to melt off. Luckily, it wasn't acid, he was just mentally terrorizing me. To think this could've happened to me too... Stay strong, girl, you're still beautiful!

The senselessness of it all leaves me lost in a world WTF! There may not be any reason for such acts to be taken against anyone. Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. And terrorists (puppets of the Antichrist) who misinterpret verses, out of ignorance and political motivations, and take them out of historical context (just like radical atheists do by the way), don't help either. Thank you very much for your time. Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them). Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI). Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI). Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad). Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. Im a teacher and will be showing this to my students … I teach 3rd grade and even at THAT age I hear my girls say they need to go on a diet or they look at me like I’m so pretty when they don’t know that deep down ice struggled w my appearance most of my life. Very sad what happened to her. Someone must have been incredibly jealous of a beautiful woman. She is still beautiful on the outside but even more beautiful on the inside. She is a true inspiration.

I cannot stress enough how much I admire this woman’s strength. I have no idea if I could live on after this. Her face was literally stolen from her for no reason. I understand that surface level appearance isn’t everything, but I can’t imagine what this woman has gone through on an emotional and spiritual level after losing her outer beauty.

I have a lifetime of trauma from my childhood and I am still going through it, sometimes I feel feel sorry for myself I pray a lot and I complain and ask God why, i cry a lot. Same here. Complex trauma and the resulting physical and mental illnesses (plus two car accidents) have made me very angry and bitter. I keep asking God to heal me and then get upset when it's taking too long(it's been years). So when I see things like this, I am ashamed at my irritation and impatience. This woman is absolutely amazing and I hope I can have her positive outlook all the time.

How depraved do you have to be to cause another human so much emotional, psychological and physical permanent damage???!! Only a demon can do this. I hope this person is found. Thank you for sharing your story. You are truly brave and resilient. Also, the curly hair is popping ❤❤

Why only beautiful faces got acid attack do u even try to think about it? Its bcoz beautiful face girls r so proud n dirty mind in real life that they insult othr who doesn't look good. Thr was a beautiful girl in my class n one day one of my classmate who was below average look guy ask her for friendship n her number but she insult him so badly infrnt of whole class by saying " go n see ur face 1st in the mirror u r worst thn monkey" next day the boy committed suicide. Dont think this acid victim r good people. They r not like this before when they had beautiful faces. After acid attackd they transform to good person down to earth. This fellow hv hurt so many guys jus bcoz they look beautiful.

Well we have many such cases in India, Pakistan too. This is what girls faced when they rejected any proposal, not all, but few did had acid thrown by these lust hungry men. But atleast in India, there were nation wide protests decade back, which regulated sale of acids. Also did set stringent action, gave acid attack survivors dignity and reservation in certain cases. But this is far from solving the problem of toxic masculinity few men have. I am daughter of incredible man, and sister of amazingly compassionate brothers, but when I see women being treated so bad just for saying no, it boils my blood. Yes no excuses against such heinous behaviour.

India is the root of all evil in this world this is completely sick I'm so angry because I saw this. I hope some enormous natural dissasters start happening there and erase the whole country it's better for this world for India to not exist. People are pure evil India is evil and I wish God saw it and did something about it.
