No ... I usually use g as 9.81 m s^-2, and using that, I got 0.147 m s^-2 (3 s.f.)

It’s sin 20 because it is a force supporting the motion of the block and it is parallel (horizontal) as we are not using friction that horizontal force is the only force that is applicable therefore it’s a matter of using Trigonometry to calculate F which is 2gSin20

Doesn't that only apply when there is another force in the opposite direction (ie. velocity up the slope)? I believe when this other force isn't there, Fg should be positive which is logical because the box is released from rest and begins to slide down in the direction of Fg so there is no reason why Fg would be negative. Instead it will be added to the net force of the object.
