As a fellow Canadian who has spent much of his working life on the prairies around heavy duty mechanics and farmers, who may sometimes be working to slightly less close tolerances than precision machinists like AvE, the version of the formula which I’m more familiar with is that “the angle of the dangle should be approximately equivalent to the slack of the crack”

Yep, Same for me. I don't know which vidjeo was my 1st but I've seen a few hundred by now and actually used the word skookum in a contract for a client worth 42 thousand canadian pacos lol. I said "our double jointed flashings are the most skookum you've ever seen and we even do a pressure hem at the base for aesthetics." I am not entirely sure how to cope with having just seen an adult that is proficient with large and expensive fabrication machinery mill, turn, and thread a potato. If Jason would of had any sense he would said, "bollocks to it I am not getting the golden fleece I am just going to go off an be a farmer",which would not of made much of story or a youtube video. I am very disappointed in this video. The manual on machining potato's clearly calls out a coarse tooth slitting saw and suggests the use of un-coated carbide when making nuts and bolts out of spuds. Although I have yet to start machining on items from my garden, maybe a video on an acme threaded carrot might be in the future. Ya never know. Great video. Stop by my channel to find out.

Genius. Very great video. For others who don't get it........it is often said that people who display genius level IQ's generally have a great sense of humor. They are also narcissistic as well so thats kind of negative but I'd rather be smart, quirky and full of myself than to be dumb any day of the week. I've seen this man do extraordinary things in some of his videos and he is always experimenting with anything others find useless. This is obviously a joke video and quite an elaborate one as well but it was executed fantastically and the fact everyone here sat and continued to watch it proves that.

When you started with the face mill, my first thought was what a cool way to shred potatoes for hash browns! I think Ore-Ida is probably a little cleaner though.

+AvE can you try to extract all of those tungsten pieces from those weird rock drill bits? and make a oxyhydrogen torch, it can reach over 6.000 degrees celsius. i wish to remain anonymous.
