The Vikings were prolific for their population, yet due to georgraphy and because of it - they could only raid far and wide in small bands. So Istanbul was safe? at least for a short period of time.

The best season I ever watched, Bjorns final scene was EPIC to watch him grow from young into the legend he became.....deffo one of the best series ever made

It’s better that these series is over at right and peaceful time. Because with time the series could become even worst like The Walking Dead writers did. I don’t like New series anymore. Because of main actors disappeared it started to get worst with New “faces” .

This last scene is the viking ideal, not leaving this world in bed getting old and weak, instead, fighting to death for your ideals. Truly inspiring. I've made a TEDx talk about this mentality.

Bjorn after his attack on Pisa and Luna , he was defeated by the Saraceens near the Strait of Gibraltar, losing most of his fleet of longships, however, he was able to escape to Sweden...not Norway ! In real history, Bjorn lived a long life , as a rich man, in Sweden. ( The King of Norway , was Harald Fairhair , he had at least 6 wives and 20 children !! )

One of the best character arcs of many TV characters. A young actor offered a role in a TV series that achieved a hell of a lot more than initially promised. Good luck Sir - you did well.

I am listening to this as i am typing. This sent chills throughout my entire body. Its the 20th time watching it.

Besides Lagertha's death, Bjorn's death was one of the saddest moments of later on in the show. Though that moment when Bjorn gets shot with the arrows and Ivar is watching in disbelief and fear, that look on the traitors face is golden. RIP King Bjorn. May you find your parents in Valhalla. Man, I'm gonna miss this show :(

Yes because I dont think the people(vikings) want to write something fake.For example Greeks or Romans can write fake for glory but vikings I dont think that want glory.The serial is a film but in reality vikings just want a better economic life and glory was in their mind.

Yes. I wanted more ! After the final battle and having been defeated, i would've preferred Hvitserk returning to Kattegat and proclaiming himself King instead of remaining and converting to Christianity. After all, the true leader of Kattegat should be a son of Ragnar imo, not that evil witch. Ubbe and Floki could've returned home as well but it looks like a new life in North America was their fate instead. How their paths changed during the series, too much conflict between all of them. Excellent series. Skol !
