This is why you need to read the book before talking about it. Solene lies at the end of the book and says she was more in love with the idea of him in order to break his heart and severe the tie. Solene and Hayes had had multiple conversations about people being more in love with the idea of him than him throughout the book, and when she decided it couldn't work and he wouldn't take no for an answer, she weaponized that knowledge as the one thing that would push him away. She hadn't actually fallen out of love and never did. AND that conversation does happen in person.

okay now you HAVE to see him at his comedic peak in Bottoms

The explanation of the ending wasn't quite right. Solene does end up giving a super hurtful speech that she only loved the idea of him, (which he was so worried about earlier in the novel/relationship) but she admits to herself and the reader she is lying. She feels it's the only way to truly end it by hurting him so badly. This is all at the very end of the book and eventually, he slowly stops calling, she admits she still loved him and it took her much longer to get over him.

I saw the title and IMMEDIATELY knew Caitlyn had to be in this episode

I have an actually hyper fixation on this damn movie. I can’t stop watching it cuz it makes me grin like an IDIOT I would die for this movie ❤

It’s crazy to act like the actor spent months dedicated to studying every Harry Styles moment. Meanwhile there was a week to prep things 😂

It’s definitely a Guilty Pleasure, I haven’t been in a relationship for the longest time, and it made me tear up.

I clicked SO FAST when I saw Cailyn was in the house and new this was gonna be giving the take of all takes

I haven't watched the podcast yet, just watched the movie last night, so I wanted to put my big thoughts here before watching and see if any of them are shared: 1. This movie made me feel like I was watching The Lizzie Maguire Movie for the first time, and I hope that makes sense because I cannot elaborate further lmao 2. Kind of piggybacking off of number 1, I found it ironic - and this may be intentional - that what Izzy was saying in the beginning about AM: "they're just so...7th grade" when the whole movie feels like it was made for zoomers and millennials that wanted to live this dream IN 7th grade and have now grown up 😅 3. Anne Hathaway is truly a goddess in so many ways 😍 Will report back after watching the pod! 🎉 **Afterthoughts: Holy shit, y'all had me HOWLING and sobbing with laughter this episode lmfao one of the best episodes yet! Well, I'm glad we all agree that Anne Hathaway is a goddess because YES!! Kelsey reminded me of another big thought I had, which was the conspiracy theory!! I absolutely think it was supposed to be alluding to her going back to who she could have been had she not gotten pregnant so young. I especially think that because of him talking about how different his life could have been had he not gotten the band role when he was younger, and I'm surprised that parallel wasn't mentioned again in regards to that! I think it all wraps up into this big thing of what life COULD have been for each of them had their lives gone different ways at some pivotal point, and regardless, they still found each other and that's what mattered. Both of them in their own regards were allowing and helping each other to live the life they wanted but couldn't ever have in any other circumstance. And I think the reason it feels like The Lizzie Maguire Movie feeling is because that was also a fanfiction kind of movie (before fanfiction was a big thing lol), so y'all helped me explain that too 😅
