I know some people are sick of ST but I think this video alone shows that these guys are seriously good musicians and deserve their flowers. Edit: I think it's also important to know that Sleep Token in studio is just two people, Vessel and II. Vessel not only provides vocal duites, but does all guitars, programming, and handles some production. II does all percussion, including drum programming. Two people making music that sounds this big is hella impressive imo.

I gotta disagree..the studio version has this amazing atmospheric break and build up with lots of open space to make the finale hit even harder as it comes so unexpected this drum solo in the live version is a great add on because 1. u dont have to worry about building up that funk part as the crowd is usually already familiar with the track and knows its coming 2. huge atmospheric parts over 1 minute can get boring for a crowd so in this scenario it is actually important to fill the space to keep the attention span 3. it proves how AMAZING the drummer is live and leaves a huge impression so over all live vs studio are just too vastly different scenarios that need to be treated differently as the listener is looking for different things

I love how this song is evolving. It is hard enough to play in its bare bones form but to play it with this kind of style adding a bunch of extra accents, ghost notes and whole extra sections. This dude is incredible canr wait to see them again in November

I haven't stopped listening to ST since I discovered them back in like November, literally no other artist/group comes close to satisfying the musical itch these fellas have scratched, and a big part of my love for their sound comes from II's godly drumming. I've never even really paid attention to drums before in music, but the way he plays hooked me from the very first listen of The Summoning. I've found something that I didn't know I was missing from my life, thanks to II and Vessel. So grateful every day to have discovered Sleep Token. Worship 🙏🖤

For pure musicality, and technicality, II is an absolute monster on the kit. All of these fills are tasteful, while being mind blowing at the same time, a superb sense of time he has.

I feel like i haven't heard such musical mastery over a set of cymbals since Peart... II just exudes a sense of knowing his instruments so precisely and selecting the right cymbals to complement each other and the other instruments playing, watching him with those cymbals was like watching someone play a keyboard or something. Really incredible
