after watching this, we surely need standing launcher punish...i don't care if it's i18 startup frame, well if we could request, we want i15 launcher punish 😂. and we need easy access to PAB or FLK from LH stance, like just tap F or B 3+4. cause as a boxer we need heavy mixup to make our opponent more upset and setup a CH

Agree with everything man! Or just make b2 the way it was: Low damage, hard conversion with instant FLK.

@@soulxcv yes...just make B2 back the way it was. and one more thing, do you think shiro combo should be back? for me should be back, so CH DF2 has more function and gives more damage than now

@@m.yudiyudi2316 For sure! It's damage and wall carry. Other non-CH oriented characters have safe mid CH launchers (ahem Lili) so the counter punching paragon should too.

There's hidden Steve tech that allows Steve to cancel LH into PAB. It was founs like 2 weeks or so ago

I use a DualShock 4. I've tried stick and leverless but I grew up using pad and it just feels so comfortable

DF+2 on CH into WS 1,2. You will need to do a DCK F into DCK cancel with DB to throw out the WS 1,2 So it looks like: DF+2 (CH) > F+3 or F+4 > DB (Duck cancel) > WS 1,2

I always hear people saying hwo has a slight disadvantage against steve but i always get steam rolled 😶I'm playing the game just for a month and its my first fighting game but i always feel hwo player can mash me to death. Sometimes it feels like i never can press a button. I am only at orange/red ranks. Might be a skill/knowledge issue 👀

I think it's a knowledge issue. Lab against Hworang and you should be okay. Any character who seems spammy does have holes. And do your best not to blank out on the defensive

In theory, it is very bad to press into Steve and Hwoarang NEEDS to press buttons all day long in order to win. If the Steve player gets the Hwoarang's timing but the other player fails to change up their gameplan, then it's gonna be death for Hwo. As for the feeling of Hwo mashing you to death, it's what his kit does best. But his kit has very big openings: lows into highs or canned mids into highs that he SHOULD do if he wants to keep up the pressure. It's not that it's a bad matchup per se that makes me love the Steve vs Hwo matchup, it's because there's so much mindgames involved and Hwo is ironically one of the few characters who still has apparent strengths and weaknesses in his kit that fleshes out his identity

@@soulxcv Thx for the answer. I think i'll lab a bit and try to find openings for me in his strings. I think the main issue is i feel overwhelmed and blocks my mental like there is no way out of his pressure.

@@inspectorkenobi Little tip: if you see him do his endless barrage blender, find the small pauses in between and make a mental note of it. Next time he does it, dickjab him. If you start to feel comfortable with those, step it up and duck and punish him. 90% of his momentum generating attacks are highs; and his mids are either high commitment launchers or they end his turn, so they rarely come out.

As a hwoarang main for me Steve is one of the worst match up
