It is very safe to spam in lower to mid levels. A little bit trickier on high levels but it's still very spammable

As a tekken king Victor, I'm so happy to see the new patch notes. People will actually be forced to learn the character as a whole, and hopefully people who spam his 1+2s get filtered out

so your opponent doing crouch mixup? or he just giving some move that doesn't make him not so disadvantage and when you check with high, he do crouch?

Fighting characters that love crouching like Lee, Law, Shaheen, you have to mid check them constantly. Df1 will be your best friend as a poke. And as a counter hit, try to find timings where you can delay your buttons, like if they are heavily minus but safe, or if they are approaching you. Flk2 will be your big button to stop them crouching

@@rizkyalhamdhy9454 just reminder, it's not always the best option from 2,1. cause for me when i using 2,1, i immediately press F for PAB transition and continuing pressure with single PAB DF1. just checking if my opponent do crouch or not.

I main Victor and I'm honestly surprised at that rank they don't use other moves. I'm in purple ranks and I wouldn't say I'm great but there are other moves that work great that these players didn't even bother to use. For example, they keep spamming b12 but if they are looking for counter hit just plain old 12 is such an awesome move. Using u12 outside of heat is just dumb. It's easily punishable. In heat it's another story, that move is bonkers. These moves are good for sure but they should balance them with others in his arsenal (tone these down, buff others)

I know right! I did play Victor on the side and his kit has so much depth due to his stances and mixups. Too bad the big 3 tools are very much part of the meta (armor spam, chip, evasion, plus frames) and the said 3 moves cover pretty much all that. I am not insinuating anything against Victor players but I just hope Bamco does a better job at balancing Victor so the rest of his kit can actually be put to use. Cheers!

U1+2 is actually a nice option on a grounded opponent you can't scoop for a combo, or sometimes as a whiff punish. But way to many people spam it, weirdly though more allow it, that shit's -20 on block.

This first Rajin Victor, was something else… and for such a cool character. Ugh. Sincerely, A Victor main in Fujin 😒

I'm hoping the new balance changes make Victor a more interesting character. I've been interested in trying him out since day one, but with how he plays pre 1.05, it was a snoozefest

yeh, u forgot to add that low that turns into a grab that can turn into a combo. i think he can lose the combo part. super annoying

Db4? Yeah I was debating on putting that in or not, but I I think it's a high risk/high reward move that Victor's at least need to consider before throwing out. They get launched if it's blocked
